How many friends do you have? For the purposes of this poll, friends are defined as people who are not part of your family with whom you enjoy spending time with, in person, outside of work, at least a few times per year. Someone you pay for companionship does not count. Votes are anonymous.

Considering I've lived and met friends all around the world. I don't have regular meetings.
But once someone who is visiting or the occasion presents it happens.

Otherwise it's pretty close to 0 ...

I have good relations with coworkers but none are friends. I have sports buddies, but don't see or talk to them outside of activities.
A honest count should be 0 for me.

interesting question, and I am curious about the motivation behind it. Is it that hobbyest have less 'real' freinds? lol

i have met thousands of people in my life, hundreds I would consider more than acquaintances, but less than friends. Real friends i have had many in my life, but the number seems to dwindle every year. I have a big family and and a busy life, and whats left of my free time i would prefer to apply to this hobby. Sometimes I ask myself if this hobby makes me a little antisocial lol

I do accept the invitation for lunch from 2 ex work-colleages (who happen to be 30 yo women lol) once in a while, I guess we are friends.

One old friend always wants to get together, but it is on his terms, his timeline, i've given up...

So true friends i have kown for a long time and I feel i can be myself with? now under 5.
