SW and feminism go hand-in-hand, historically. Body positivity, gender inclusion, social justice (and social services), body autonomy are core left-wing tenets that most SWs support. Women supporting women is the only reason there is a sex industry that isn't rife with danger in the western world. Men sure as fuck aren't going out of their way to make it more accessible and safe. If you're looking only to the extremes you only see extreme things/opinions/reactions.
I was absolutely shredded publicly by other women in the industry for my views… but hey - feminism, social justice, and all that noble crap, right

I'm not saying you (or anyone) should be in lock-step agreement across the board. I don't know what people in the industry think of your views, but if you were put on blast because of them, it might be because those views put others at risk or broke their trust. I'm just spit-balling, not assuming I'm right for what it's worth.

How is it left-leaning? The last time I checked feminists are against sex work. I seen some tweets from a SW on twitter, she is a far-left feminist, she said how she hates Capitalism, etc.. But it is so ironic she says that because selling sexual services is 100% Capitalistic. She is a misandrist yet she is serving male clients. There is so much irony and hypocrisy in that. SW is neither left-leaning or right-leaning because both sides are against it.
Many cater to men then bash men on their Twitters or their group chats. Not to mention how they find forums like merb lame and members lame.
Many also bash each other behind their backs. No thanks.
I wouldn’t be surprised if many of these women feel guilty for being part of a group like this and just wish they could break free from the groupthink. I’ve been in high school and remember what it’s like to dislike someone just because my friends said so.

I think primarily it comes most of the time as simply as to make a living or to escape from the regular civilian way of earning to get a certain freedom.

Good, as they should lol. Protect yourselves, stick together. We are all of us lame for being here. I dread the moment someone finds out I post here, not because of what I say or my views but because it's so terribly uncool and the stigma of the review-boy. Doesn't mean I can't have fun with it.

I say when it comes to this hobby best to keep whatever beliefs you have to yourself. Goes both the SP and hobbyist. Orgasms do not discriminate lol.
Cum with some different flavors and point of views :p

The biggest groups going against SW are feminists. They say that men wanting sex and especially those that pay for it are predators and the women are victims. Look at the advertisement every year during Grand Prix about the anti-prostitution campaign, it is being pushed by feminist organizations.

I get this perspective and I wish I was built like that but I don't see companions to fuck and forget. I need to be able to have an intelligent conversation with them otherwise I'd just invest in a Real Doll and stay home.

Again, fringe radicals aside, this isn't true. The biggest groups railing against sex work are religious and conservative groups. Feminists who decry SW do it because it can be exploitative (leading to trafficking), esp when it's run by men. The overwhelming majority support SW by women, for women.

You might shrug it off and call it fun, but the reality is that constantly bashing men or other women that don't agree with you on certain topics on social media isn’t harmless.
It reinforces toxic behavior, normalizes disrespect, and creates a culture where people feel justified tearing others down for entertainment.
Sticking together in a "boys’ club" might feel safe, but it doesn’t make it okay.

This is exactly what’s wrong in today’s society. Throw in smartphones and social media, and every insult, stereotype, and bit of hypocrisy gets amplified. People are conditioned to attack rather than engage or debate, then straight to cancelling others for difference of opinion.
New-age feminism and neoliberalism are masters at this. They weaponize outrage, elevate performative morality, and normalize public shaming, all while claiming it’s about “justice” or “empowerment.” It's fkn pathetic and completely strays away from what actual feminism is really about.

Why does any of this shit need to come up at all? With all the things in the world to talk about is it really necessary to bring up things like politics, religion and PC views during a session? I know this is a bit abstract because either the client or the SP could bring anything up at any time but it seems to me that this should generally be an agnostic (religious, political) profession, and that the ladies at least should be smart enough to avoid topics that would impact negatively on their business. If it never comes up then it shouldn't be an issue, right? Of course you can't stop stupid clients from saying whatever but instead of saying I support this or can't put up with that couldn't you simply say that some topics are off limits during sessions, without taking stances either way? I suppose this is a naive statement, but I generally avoid talking about inflammatory issues during sessions because the whole point is to relax. Any time stupid stuff has come up it has been generally irritating things (as has happened very recently during an indy MP session) but not angry stuff. It just seems to me that a lot of this stuff is just unnecessary and counterproductive for both clients and SPs

because it's important to not sweep shit under the rug and to hold people accountable for their actions

and also because:
This is literally a website built on opinions, for opinionated people. Good luck moving that needle.

Yeah we got away from the OP question. This mainly had to do with whether or not SPs should or shouldn't use their online/social media platforms to reflect their personal viewpoints. I don't think any provider is cold-cocking some wild political view on a client mid-session.

? Which actions ?
That’s if you wanna elaborate since you know we’re off topic and all.
I won't derail any further but I'm open to discussion in DMs if we can be civil about it. Otherwise we're gonna see this familiar sight
