Hard to quantify, but the chemistry is real. Confidence spreads shift to shift, and the whole team plays bigger because of it. Love seeing Danault find his place so quickly. Even other fans and coaches are pointing out how fun it is watching these kids grow together for a while, but you can really feel it. Can't even think of a player I dislike... GHG!

PS. Fuck the leafs.

And even with a bunch of injured guys....we....keep....winning. 10 points out of 14 on the Christmas road trip. Not bad at all!

If we had to be shutdown by a goalie, i prefer it to be Bennington! Team Canada goalie, and we have a title to defend.
Kind of jack in the box. I think Habs got some favours from Bussi (Canes goalie), Bennington got it all back…
Team’s plus and minus is now at zip.
They erased all trailing goals from « black November » defeats.

What a game against the Flames.

Cole being Cole with a laser
Texier showing his hands, got 3 points
Another goal for Kapanen
Danault 86% on faceoffs
Fowler showing the good stuff again

And the list goes on.....good time to be a Habs fan.

Is this going to finally be the year he scores 40 goals? His pace through 43 games is exactly 40.04. Last year he had 37 playing in all 82 games. Will he do it?

I would love it for the guy, even though it doesn't change much for us to have a 37 goal scorer or a 40 goal scorer to be honest. Unless these goals are highly critical for rankings on the moment, but that's hypothetical.

Would be mostly material for hungry journalists who could say he's the first to score 40 since Vincent Damphousse over and over again.

But will he do it.....maybe, maybe not. Cole may go on a strike and get a few hat tricks and some two goals games, he may also go on a slump, he may score one per game with impressive regularity. Who knows.

6-2 contre les Panthers, nice! We're on a roll.

Texier, 6 tirs au but!!!
Dobson, 4 tirs
Suzuki, 1 tir
Caufield, 1 tir
Kapanen, 1 tir
Matheson, 1 tir
Slafkovsky, 0 tir
Danault, 0 tir
Demidov, 0 tir
Hutson, 0 tir

Mises en jeu:

Suzuki, 42,9%
Danault, 38,6%
Kapanen, 41,2%

I REALLY like Dobson on the top power play unit. He can still move the puck and can be the hammer on the power play they haven't had since Markov. I also like the idea of Hutson on the second unit, running it like a point guard. Perhaps he can supercharge it and give Montreal two formidable units.

Both my Habs & my Leafs are playing great exciting hockey these days so i’m a very happy hockey fan these days! Tonight will be a tall order for the Habs against the Caps & Logan Thompson, who may be the best goalie in the league. As for the Leafs after shocking the Avs last night they may be out of gas tonight against Utah. But the Leafs like the Habs are on quite a roll right now so who knows? Go Habs go! Go Leafs go!

First time I see those words in the same sentence! ;)
Most of my buddies can’t believe that i cheer nearly equally for both of these teams. My reply is that like many men who are married they often have mistresses. So i tell them that i’m married to the Leafs & have a mistress named the Habs. And if i ever had to chose between my wife or my mistress i’d do the right thing & chose to remain with my wife.

Since i now love both teams it gets confusing whenever these two teams play one another. I cheer every time they score & my budweiser light comes on every time each team scores! Lol

Sometimes i wear my Leafs jacket & the following day i may wear my Habs jacket depending if they won the previous night. That confuses people a lot! Lol.

I also own several jerseys of both teams. If the Leafs are playing i may wear my Leafs jersey. If the Habs are playing i wear my Habs jersey. When they play one another i’ll wear the home team jersey & let’s say the Habs score first i’ll switch to a Leafs jersey. I’ll wear the jersey of the team that trails. Why? Because i want the game to end in a tie in order for each team to get at least a point. Then in OT i’ll put on my Leafs jersey! Lol.

Same thing in the playoffs. The day the Leafs play i’ll put Leafs flags on my truck. Then when they play one Habs play I’ll switch to Habs flags! Lol.

p.s. People think i’m nuts! Maybe i am, who cares! Lol.
