Trudeau on absence from Canada World Cup Match: "Boyfriend Duties Call"

Canada is co-hosting the biggest sports event in the world for the very first time and he's the former Prime Minister of said country... yet he ends up attending the USA game instead?

I wonder what his father would've thought of this... The kind of man who would've been the first in the stadium and cheering for 90 minutes for his country.

If Canada wins a game I'll call this a success. It'd be their first ever win, and something to build on.
This stage of the tournament (with 48 teams) never existed in past world cups and Canada as host gets a much weaker group so winning a game is much easier than in past cups…

I would have gone to the US game too.

Ride in a private jet. Stay in a suite. See Katy Perry perform then have sex with her off of her performing high.. or go see Canada-Bosnia in Toronto alone?

For the first time Canada actually has a team that on a good day can hold their own with any team.
Will they win ? I wouldn’t put money on it.

I still like Spain, Germany, and Argentina.
The Dutch had a great second game also.
England while they look good for now will probably choke as they usually do, they can only win on home ground and only won it once in 1966 in England.

Brazil is not the Brazil we are used to and look awful compared to their former teams.

Belgium, Croatia are an aging team and are going nowhere even if they make it out of the group stage.

Fradi, you left out France which is currently the #1 ranked team in the world, ahead of #2 England.
You are right
France is an excellent team and I should have included them with Germany, Spain and Argentina.don’t know why I left them out.
France is full of exceptional players from Real Madrid, to Champions League winner twice in a row. Paris St Germain
I still don’t like England all that much though.

She doesn’t look all that great here.
Wouldn’t miss a World Cup game for a session with her.
World Cup only comes around every 4 years. SP that look as good as her or better you can find anytime.
Then again I am a football fanatic.

  • Spain's playstyle is too predictable despite having the squad that can win it all.
  • Germany is improving but nowhere near back to their glorious level.
  • Argentina will collapse the second Messi has a bad game, although that might not happen to him, lol.
  • Netherlands will probably make a deep run, but the squad lacks talented/experienced players (forwards, especially) to carry them to the end.
  • England is England, as you said.
  • Brazil is finished, not even the legendary Ancelotti can save that sinking ship.
  • Belgium and Croatia are straight up average teams now.

And so, as much as it pains me to say, France is the most complete and lethal team overall.

I'm not a Justin Trudeau fan per se but you gotta admit, he's got some game to pull Katy Perry.

No wonder Trump didn't like him lol. Trudeau had that charming effect on Melania too! Lol

France is a good team for sure and have a good chance at winning it, however it is not always the best team that wins, you should ask the Dutch lol.
The Netherlands were the best in at least 2 world cups and didn’t win. They were runners up in 1974,1978 and 2010.

Same goes for Hungary in 1954 they ended up losing to Germany 3-2 in the final, same team they beat in the group stage 8-3 and beat both Uruguay and Brazil who were their closest competition.
