Laundry is on my mind. Y'all give me so much laundry to do!

On my mind now...How to help Michelle Gunn with her laundry problem.
Step 1: Greet your clients at the door in your best birthday suit. No clothes, no wash.
Step 2: Get disposable sheets and towels. No wash.
Step 3: Kick clients out and Go to bed.

A couple of things. There are a few clients I appreciate, who I haven't seen in a while, some I know are active because they post here or elsewhere. :( It makes me kinda sad..

I feel like I've come to a turning point in my journey as a provider honestly.. Some things are just not working for me anymore, and I find 2026 to be very different for 2025.
I have nothing to complain about, I'm very privileged and I have a lot of skills. It's not like I'm about to be on the street lol. I've also had some good surprises, including a client I really got along with last week..

I'm just kinda disappointed about how things are going, and it makes me want to move away from offering certain services unless I have interesting inquiries. I was planning to semi retire in January but I don't know if that's realistic, however things will at least have to change.

Alright, here’s what on my mind today.

I recently got back into the game more actively. And I notice more and more that SP’s are much busier than usual. And in turn there’s a supply and demand issue; so the price rises. Simple Economics.

More so, it’s harder to get full services GFE type. What I’ve observed is;

1. Younger ones want more protection and less possibility to be exposed to STD.
2. They can dictate whatever and still get their way - demand is there no matter what. If it’s not you, it’s the dozen waiting after you.

Now this is where I think it gets even more complex: First the pickup game with the ladies has gotten much harder, you can’t pick em up like you used to. You have to come with material things/money. That or you have to up your game and really be a smooth talker to get away with it.

That said, I think many people not at that standard pay to play, given the complexity of today’s social world.

Fantasy is a big factor too. You see it everywhere today, you want to experience everything, a girl with that freak factor.

Last, I think men that got out of relationships also dabble in this more than before. You’re older, meeting women is complicated today, like I said. So you go for the pay for play factor.

Let me know what you think

Renude.

FYI - the “regular job” vs SW is clear; as an SW you’re basically On “commission”, clients come you get paid, they don’t you're SOL.
A regular job is you’re standard 9-5 with a fixed pay with hourly wage.

Still I think it’s offensive to say regular job, be more minded and say other job.

A lot of what you're saying comes from your own perception of things, but it doesn't necessarily correspond to reality and I see a lot of complaints repeating themselves on this forum very often, without fully understanding where they're coming from.

It's really hard to get clients as an indy if you're not offering GFE services, no matter how old you are. At agencies they have no choice but to offer it. I know a lot of young and attractive escorts who get almost no business as indies even if they offer GFE, and work for an agency or massage parlor on the side or as a stripper. It's just not true that there is that much offer at the moment. You have to work extremely hard to get booked. The client base that wants safe services usually goes to massage parlors, and they don't really use websites like Merb.

That is why personally I have started working at a MP again, because I am tired of putting my health at risk all the time and getting inquiries from people who are extremely demanding in terms of service and dealing with manipulative and frustrated individuals all the time who really view seeing sex workers as a hobby and get extremely involved. I am getting tired of the contradiction some hobbyists offer online : they want a GFE service yet they are against ''connecting'', they are against paying for social time or paying to go on dates. It doesn't make any sense to me. If you just want to unwind and get off and that's it, then don't ask to kiss me or eat me out.

I've had really really good encounters in this industry that I am very thankful for, and I met some truly amazing clients.. I've had some very surprising experiences.. but outside of touring this year has been pretty difficult to me, I've had a lot of strange experiences and not enough positive ones to counter balance them. That isn't to say that there aren't clients I truly appreciate, because there still are. It just has changed.

Really often when I hear this type of complaint, it's from men not understanding how their side contributes to the issue. They think women just want money and gifts when it comes to dating when in fact they just want to be treated with respect and they want commitment, which is really hard to get nowadays. Most women I know aren't looking for a wealthy man they are trying to find a solid relationship and it just doesn't happen because they run into men in their 30's and 40's who are still incapable of commitment and communication.

Maybe some men end up being involved with superficial women who are only into money, because they are superficial themselves. I have run into men like this as an escort, who use their money as a way to gain control and only want to date extremely attractive women who are invested in a certain lavish lifestyle, only to get surprised that they feel pressured to finance said lifestyle.

It's the same thing with escorting.. A lot of people complain about how bad the service has become but they don't understand how the culture surrounding this industry has contributed to it. I wasn't there before the pandemic and before fosta-sesta, but I have progressively seen drastic changes in this industry. Clients have become more and more demanding and I often leave certain sessions feeling completely drained. That's why I often talk about bringing your own positive energy to bookings, because it does make a difference. And it isn't true that clients have always insisted on GFE services being present, according to many friends who were in the industry much longer than I have been.

BTW working for yourself and having your own business is ''a regular job'' and isn't a 9 to 5. It's not about it being offensive or not. Even with some types of jobs, you can make your own schedule and it may not be a regular 5 days a week 9 to 5 job.
