Any Belgians on the board with reactions to the fix that's been put on their next game?

It doesn’t get any better than this.
The World Cup Champions versus the European Champions in the World Cup final.
All is right with the world of football.

I think Canada’s run is impressive, but the expanded format definitely helped. Still, they played well and deserved the knockout stage.

Canada has come a long way and have many young players in European leagues better than the North American where aging stars come to retire.
With them being co hosts hopefully even more youngsters saw the World Cup and will have more interest in taking up soccer as a sport.

Canada is going nowhere if they don't improve their offense with better players, and they must also improve their play finish in attack!

While I agree that Canada needs to improve still I completely disagree with the fact that they are going nowhere.
Canada has only qualified for 3 World Cup group stages in its entire history and in 2026 they did it by being co hosts not by winning their way to it.

Canada has never won a World Cup group stage game in the other 2 group stages they qualified for prior to 2026.
This time around not only were they second in their group and moved forward into the knockout stage but they won their first knockout game against South Africa and moved into the round of 16. As an example powerhouse like Italy didn’t make it to the group stages neither did Chile from South America.

This is a result of many young Canadian players playing in top leagues in Europe in established competitive world famous clubs.
1 Alphonso Davies ( Bayern Munich Germany arguable in the top 5 best clubs of the world)
2. Jonathan David. ( Juventus Italy again rated as probably one of the strongest teams in Italy one of the strongest leagues in Europe)
3. Tajon Buchanan ( Villarreal Spain)
4 Moise Bombito ( Nice France)
5 Derek Cornelius ( Olympics Marseille France)
6 Allistair Johnstone ( Celtic Scotland)
7 Cyle Larin ( RCD Mallorca Spain

Most others play in the MLS which may not be as strong as the European and South American League but have also come a long way in the last 10 years.
