"Ozempic" strikes me as a coastal New England town where Quebecers go on holiday. About 50 miles south of Ogunquit.
They are different. Ozempic (Novo) is a Glucagon-like Peptide 1 (GLP1) agonist. Mounjaro (Eli) is a GLP1 agonist and a Gastric Inhibitory Polypeptide (GIP). GLP-1 receptor binding in both drugs support natural signally stating you are full. They are mainly acting in your brain making you feel full.
Think of Thanksgiving where you eat, you first feel positive. You keep eating until you are satisfied. Then you keep eating and you are full and can’t eat any more. Then grandma shows up with dessert and you “make room” and go beyond full and feel bad, nauseous and then want to start vomiting. GLP1-agonsts pushes you towards being full but often too far and makes you nauseous and want to vomit (~25% - 40%). But the main benefit is that the GIP receptor activation is to reduce nausea and vomiting (via GABAergic aka inhibitory signaling on neurons that want to make you want to vomit) and it is currently being tested on everything nausea related including chemotherapy. GLP1 does many other things including reduce caloric intake, increases insulin and increases gastric emptying. GIP increases insulin release and glucose/triglycerides uptake. Them working in tandem has found that it results in a higher change in body weight and blood sugar compared to Ozempic over 40 weeks.
Actually, they are working on a triple agonist Retatrutide (Eli) with the third target being glucagon and Cagrilintide (Novo) that works on amylin and calcitonin receptors to reduce food intake and fat and will be mixed with Ozempic.

it is funny that a couple weeks ago, I was at a hospital's emergency room for some issue, and once they confirmed I was not going to die, I had to sit 10 hours in the waiting room to get a doctor to see me for 5minutes and prescribe some drugs

But they will still tell you that "partenariats publics-prives" is the work of the Devil and make you wait 4-5 months for appointment with a specialist.
