I had breakfast with a large group of people this morning and a bunch of people told me they don't have the app and wouldn't know what uses it has, let alone that messaging is one of them. Older generation and they shouldn't have to apologize. As far as this being a stunt, (a) I had no idea Tik Tok would be back today when I started the thread, if I could read Crystal balls I would make a lot of money doing that and quit my day job, and (b) from what I am reading the issue is not resolved yet, and Tik Tok is back only temporarily and still could be banned again.

The statement was not well received by many users. One poster called it an "insane dick sucking tweet", which seemed like one of the kinder comments. I guess they expected Tik Tok to heap insults on Trump while negotiating with him?

never had any issues with tiktok, at least it's a different kind of social tool.
My only (personal) issue is that it's pretty addicitive and i found it to be time consuming, like most social apps in fact, so i'd rather spend my time doing something else.
