It's getting hot in the kitchen (food appreciation thread)

On the subject of store bought, cold smoked salmons, apart from the usual suspect local Jewish delis (in Montreal, Snowdon's is one), which usually have pretty good smoked salmon but at very high prices, I have found this smoked salmon in Fresh Market to be the best of the store bought salmons on the market, IMHO. I get 4 ounces for $11.99, so basically $48 per pound. It's a little bit oily but very tasty and I have it on salads and with bagels of course:
