I had a few instances over the years where a client simply chose not to pay at all. I promise it stings A LOT MORE than losing a few dollars. If you see well reviewed indies theres no reason why you should be scared to at least show the money in advance. Most of us won't count it we just want to see that you do in fact have it.

Where's your review thread as a trustworthy client? Where's your proof that you will pay?

Sorry when you say a client "chose not to pay" you mean he ran off with the money ? or just left before the meeting was over ?
