I've been doing it ever since my first time going to hotels years ago. On longer tours/travels I'll ask for refills a few times during my stay too so I can make more packages lol
I'm always too shy to ask for anything when I'm touring because I don't want to be noticed by the staff lol

Take whatever isn't bolted down when staying at a hotel (and whatever you can unbolt if you have the right wrench) just make sure you don't get charged for it on checkout. If I'm travelling and find a pillow I don't hate I'll call down and tell them I'm missing a pillow and they'll bring one up and I take the original pillow with me for the duration of my travels.

This is especially important in Europe where they have perfected many things (highway traffic, single-use bottles with lids attached, pretty much all the food, etc) but have not yet discovered North American bed technology.

Somewhat unrelated but the honeyrose hotel has this eternal roses decor thing you can buy in the room for 100$. I wonder if anyone has ever actually bought them. I always giggle about it when going to this hotel because let's be real nobody rents a hotel room planning on buying eternal roses in the first place. If I was in my room with a spare 100$ I'd order food or do some actual shopping... My guess is there are more people getting charged for stealing it after missing the (very) fine print than there are people actively wanting to buy it lol

I bring towels from home for this reason but I figure they expect that the soaps etc don't last more than a couple days even for a single person since they're so tiny

Great hotel, but a bit weird. Once, coming back from dinner for dessert, I picked up the weird, old-tymey phone they have next to the 2 chairs on each floor by the elevators and was saying "blah, blah, blah," or something and then someone replied back like, "front desk, how can I help you?" and I was just, "oh shit!" and hung-up but they called it back and we ran to the room but we could hear it ringing for a bit in the hallway. Very nice but a little weird.

I know this is off topic, but hotels really stress me out when I'm touring.

When I'm doing an outcall, I love them, and I don't have to worry about anything. But I have done things I was not supposed to do while I was touring, and I regret it.. For instance I have allowed a friend to stay with me at night when I worked during the day, in 2 different cities. This includes the time we met LOL a friend of mine actually had joined me later. This is incredibly stupid of me, but touring can feel very lonely. I guess this is my confession.

Touring felt really glamorous and fun at first, but it's conducive to excess, and lately it lost it's magic for me so I decided to take a break from it until later in the spring, or the summer.. I'm just grateful I had success (or relative success) every time. Every city has it's ecosystem of clients and providers..

In the topic of hotels, once I was looking for more towels. I was hoping to bump into the room cleaning staffs and ask.
I couldn't wait and ask so I sneaked into the "refill" room and helped myself lol

I've done this once too ... huge mistake while touring lol. In a lot of cheaper and larger hotels, room cleaning doesn't happen very often.. The hotel I stayed at when I went to Halifax twice, for instance, never sent room cleaning staff to me at all, which was highly uncomfortable because I was actually quite popular there. I think they flag escorts somehow and they do things like this.. Last time I went to Toronto, they put me at the very end of a long corridor, which was kinda funny but felt a bit creepy... I think I'll try to find another place next.

The ritz has soaps and lotions in regular size bottles, it clearly says you’ll be charged if you take one. My date didn’t believe it so he told me to take a bottle on my way out

Why it is that somehow every single airport in the world, every single supermarket, every mall shop is flooded with this new "Dubai chocolate"?

after some time I found it at a deep discount , I purchased and tried it: t is ok, the green paste (I think it is pistaccio), is waay too sweet IMO, but really nothing to kill about, I would take pure solid chocolate with raisings any time instead of it

maybe some oil sheik or his mistress, spending crazy money in crazy ideas

The urban myth is that “chocolate + Dubai” results from researches online would cover the results you’d get hinting to women getting shitted on in Dubai for money

I am chronically online and have never heard this theory but it's awesome. I think Big Pistachio is just running the greatest social media marketing campaign right now. It's pistachio everything all of a sudden, esp. in Italy, but that's probably the norm there.

Just a trend that has outgrown the taste of it.
