It’s me again!

Some of you that are new might be confused/worried about certain practices and wondering if you’re about to get scammed. Please keep in mind that before trusting anything or anyone, you should always do a research and confirm that the SP is who they say they are, that they exist and that there wasn’t any incident of scamming reported.

“She asked me to send her a Uber gift card for her transportation to my place”
Standard practice. Our main concern when accepting an outcall booking, after safety, is to show up to the address and being ghosted. To avoid this situation happening, we often ask for a gift card, some ask for a etransfer to make sure the person is serious.

“She asked me to pay for the full session with a xyz gift card prior to meeting”
It definitely sounds like a scam, chances are the person will block you and never answer your text messages/emails.

“I texted her that I had arrived at the address, she told me the door was unlocked and to just let myself in”
Unless you know the person, that you’ve read online that it was normal with her, I would advise not to walk in. While it is not a scam, it could be a trap. Someone other than the person on the photo could be waiting for you in the apartment.

“She only texted me a street corner and no exact address”
Standard practice. Imagine if we just have our address to anyone messaging us without any proofs they’re serious about coming to see us.

“I gave her the cash in hand and she stepped out to go somewhere else”
It could be a scam. She might have stepped out to give the money to someone else, in that case many times a “boyfriend” will show up and ask you to leave. In some cases it could just be that she doesn’t trust you and just wanted to hide the money (people wouldn’t usually show you where tho so refer to first possibility)

“I gave her the cash in hand and she asked me to shower”
Standard practice but could also be a scam. A lot of us will ask you to shower so that we can hide the money without you knowing where it is. It could sometimes be a situation similar to the one above, a “boyfriend” might wait for you when you get out of the shower.

“She gave me the address, I texted her that I was there. She asked me to e-transfer the full amount and that she’ll come down to open the door”
It’s a scam. She’s never going to come down and pick you up. She probably gave you a random address.

“She gave me the address, I texted her that I was there and she asked me for a photo of the building”
Standard practice. Some providers just want to make sure that you really are there and that you’re not just collecting addresses.

“She asked me to send her a Steam card”
Almost always a scam.

anyone asking to be paid with a Steam card is a scammer.

Thank you I will add this one. I forgot about that.

People asking for vanilla visas can be legit, but the card must be handed to them in person. Same with online card purchases. Activation codes in hand only.

Then just don’t go through with the appointment in my opinion. If you don’t trust the person don’t do it. The legitimate providers asking for those are asking so that they don’t waste their time. Absolutely nothing forces you to go through with it.

For the most part, although there are some legit gift card transactions if you assume that anyone asking for payment in gift cards is a scammer you're pretty much always going to be right.

Full amount? Yes most likely a scam. ‘Deposit’ ‘caution’ not always. Like I said, research

I don't. Since I know that the vast majority of gift card payments are scams I avoid all of them these days. I have, however, in extenuating circumstances, paid with gift cards before, but never to a voice on the telephone or to an internet persona. To a person, in person. Never an issue.

Again, I put qualifiers in, but I perhaps could have worded them more clearly. Might be my prejudices, since I don't pay deposits. You might also include the "my driver will pick up the payment and then once paid I'll come upstairs" scam too.

That. Thank you!
I would add a "standard scam practice" to help our clientele. I mentioned it in another post, but SP telling people to subscribe to free OF and that they'll talk on that plateforme to arrange a meeting. This is a scam.

The plateforme will ban Creators doing so. Arranged in-person meetups through Onlyfans platform is forbidden .

Usually, renowned providers and SP won't go there and suggest it to you.

That’s dumb because the platform forbids talking about in person meeting lmao

To show you a pattern of fake/scam accounts.

Be careful out there and you can take your time to search for a real and nice provider.

No booking via Onlyfans. And Copy-paste-ish description could be red flags.

doesnt seem likely, more akin to SPAM, no? would anyone want what these type of ads promises, let alone think it was real?
in this case i'm not really sure what happens after the guy contacts this person on her "free onlyfans page". i know most advertising platforms currently have a ton of these fake escort ads that lead to OF pages, it's a trick that girls use to get clients. yeah it's kinda like spam. i don't know if i'd call it a scam because no one is forced to sign up for these pages and pay for the content lol ... for this specific ad a booking is promised through OF messaging which is sketchy.

otherwise, i think scams often work precisely because they offer something "too good to be true" in the eyes of certain people.. they work because they offer what some men are looking for. to me, it's extremely easy to figure out what's a scam and what isn't just by looking at an ad alone. otherwise it takes 5 minutes to do a little bit of research, find out if the provider has a website and a social media presence, etc.

i think it's interesting that people are more worried about getting scammed, rather than someone having an abusive pimp or being underage, too..

I deleted my leolist ad 2 weeks ago because I was done with it. It's tempting to use it because a lot of men don't know what else is out there.. but at this point, it's just not worth it. There are reputable providers who use it but tryst verifies identity for real.

"She asks for a deposit and/or ID for screening" - not necessarily abnormal. Decide whether that's something you are or aren't comfortable with, sure. If they have a decent ad, a website (not just OF), and they're well-reviewed here I've never had an issue providing either, and never been disappointed (so far).

totally agree. clearly there's a lot of cognitive dissidence going on here. And irresponsible behaviour is rampant. I hope everyone out there can use some common sense and try to treat each other as they'd want to be treated.
