Mostly south of Spain, the arab influence lasted longer there and the architecture is pretty spectacular.
Ohh I would love to go there, and to the islands that are nearby
South of spain is very different from the rest of the country, we did a road trip strating from Barcelona and driving to Granada. We visited a lot of cities, Sevilla, Malaga, Granada, Carthagene, Cordoba and Valencia. This part of the country is very dry, Sergio Leone shot his westerns movie there. Overall i like Italy more than Spain but i was happy to go there. The Alhambra in Granada is magnificent but i was even more impressed by Cordoba, the church is made of layers from 3 different eras, never saw that before elsewhere.
Malaga was a nice surprise also, not what i was expecting.
