Its likely James reacting before the storm. The article was likely the trigger for him wanting to stay low but the episode, likely seen by tens of thousands of peoples, is the confirmation. He knew lots of peoples would look for the Euphoria website so he was just pro active.

Its unknown if Euphoria will come back after a few days/weeks under the same name, a different one, or at all.

Time will tell

I would operate multiple small agencies as one instead of a big one. I just wonder how they launder the money. I actually know they had ties at some point with a software company that operated in the south shore. I think a software startup is the way to go.

A pimp is a pimp. Period.

At $80 x 3 clients minimum. There’s like 9 girls min daily, do the math. It’s alot of money, all cash. I wouldn’t be surprised if tax agencies get involved too. It’s also all illegal money after all, everything can be seized.

I wouldn’t want to be James tonight, but he knew the risks.

Enquête is no joke, it pushed the gov to act on individuals and situations multiple times.

Not really if you count all expenses plus protection money. Can't operate without

The point of the episode is that there is no protection, multiple women can vouch for that, it’s all fluff lol

I looked up the past threads for the sake of pocket watching, the average is 8 girls a day. The minimum is 3 clients, we could say that the average must be around 5

It’s 100k a month on average. Remove all the costs you want (hosting/booker salary), you still come up with alot of money. He made millions in profit since he started a decade ago. And I’m pretty sure the hosting cost is mortgage payments for the condos so it’s not even "lost" money, it’s probably equity.

You don't operate such establishments in Montreal without "protection" from the organized crime, period. And you don't know the cut.

J'espère bien, souvent la police réagit après ce genre d'article pour paraître faire quelque chose

I thought you were talking about protection for SWs. Well yeah, he probably pays organized crime a cut, still a shit load of money by being a pimp. Also one of the reason why they will come down on him and he will probably have to stay quiet and take all the blame. He knews the risks and made alot, my point still stands.

Yes, he probably makes on par with some famous doctor or lawyer but the risks, the problem with the money legalization (cost money too) and the current and the future legal expenses should be also considered.

These "Enquetes" are very one sided. Yes there are victims in every industry, but that doesn't encompass the entire industry, and there are laws to protect victims. I'm not referring to the article in this post per se. Anyways why don't the media post a report about a handicaped guy that has his morale boosted by seeing an SP? Or the divorced man who can't date because of juggling his schedule between taking care of his kids and work, and seeing an SP is the only sex he gets? Or the guy that because of his looks or poor social skills can only get an SP? And all are respectful and appreciative of the women they are seeing. The media is politicized and push a politicized agenda.
-------------------

The reason there is no positive views in that investigation show is that many people like me, refused to answer the journalist’s questions when asked earlier in May. I had no comment to make as I’ve never worked for XO. He also has no way to directly reach out to girls working for agencies as unlike me, they don’t have a direct phone number or email. He’d have to either book them and then interview them in the hour he’s booked or ask the booker if he can speak to them and what sane booker would say yes?

I am not calling her a liar. She obviously had bad experiences in the same way that working as a waitress would have them. But because of the nature of the industry she is able to parlay her redemption into a living which and ex-waitress never could
Personally I don't want to call someone a liar for expressing she had bad experiences.

ouch, just watched the episode in its entirety. I wouldnt want to be that doctor. I just recently had a surgery at LasikMD lol. Glad he was not my Dr. This ophtamoligist is/was certainly a merb member.

I did not like how the report casually went from Euphoria, to this sick doctor, to minors in other agencies, to drugs, to XO. The casual viewer will not be able to tell the difference and equate all with Euphoria, a place by most accounts was on the ethical side of the business.

This 'journalist' Romain Schué sucks, the 'investigation' was clearly one-sided and biased. Not one mention of women who choose and are content with their participation in this industry, even agencies, as @Ariel18 's testimony confirms.

But ultimitately, I think this wont go anywhere long term. Poor Euphoria will probabaly have to lay low for a while, but hopefully they will recover.

And oh yeah, Richard Martineau of the Morality squad of the SPVM. He knows EVERTHING, and surely he knows that Euphoria is not the biggest problem in the city. He said "we go by priority and emergencies". They are surely not staffed sufficiently to investigate and take down all illegal sex work in the city, but more to monitor for the bad apples. But he was put on the spot by this journalist, did not look favourable. They had him in a shot with two female co-workers...what was that? strange.
I highly doubt this segment had many ratings.
