My 2 cents...
I heard they used to allow CES attendees to enter the AVN show for free, don't know if that was true but apparently CES is a much bigger show than AVN. This year AVN and CES share the Sands convention center, while CES has another even bigger section in the Las Vegas convention center. Anyways, both were nice shows.
I was there Saturday afternoon. Went around to see a few booths. First time at AVN and it was just stunning to me. Initially I thought it would be just a normal thing where you take some pictures and that's it, you only go there once in your lifetime. But later I realize that I do need to go back again in the future, and next time maybe even buy a VIP membership (this way you don't have to wait in line to see some of the top stars). In particular, leaning against a pornstar's breast while taking photos is priceless...
A little bit of review. Yes, Briana Banks was super nice, at the end of the show she went away in a wheelchair, which means that she came to the show without a 100% condition. But again, I hope it's not because that she's starting her own company which made her super nice this year. I hope to see the same her in the future.
Stoya was another sweet girl. Her look might not click with some of you guys but I found her really cute. Another one worth mentioning is Lisa Ann, who portrays the female governor who ran for the US vice president. The video "Obama is screwing Palin" was just awesome, and they showed it right beside her stage. What I liked most about her is that, at the end of the day, there were still people waiting in the line (including me). She didn't just quit like some of the others did (just by saying "sorry guys I have to go" then simply left), but went through the line very quickly by signing a small poster of her and took a quick picture with each person. The attitude really counted for something.
Stormy, on the other hand, was surprisingly cold. I waited in line for almost an hour to get to her, and then told her "oh, you are my favorite pornstar". Then she was just like "hm... ok... what's your name?" Then signed the poster and took a picture with me. She had smiles on her face, but it was so apparent a business-type smile. Not like Stoya, whose passion was quite obvious through her smile. I guess maybe people just get sicken tired when they work long enough in this industry or when they have attended so many AVN expos.
Anyways, first time to AVN, first time to Vegas, and it was nice. Will go back again, for sure.
