Did anyone see Sergio Garcia shoot a record 13 shots on the 15th hole (8 over par, what’s that, octuple bogey?) with 5 shots in the water? Was this like the movie Tin Cup all over again?

You can lose this tournament with one bad shot and one bad hole. There is a tremendous drama at this tournament because there are some very, very difficult holes on the back 9 requiring correct yardage, correct club decisions and correct shot decisions. Bad decisions can lead to disaster playing out before a world audience.

Tony Finau dislocating his ankle celebrating a hole in one during the par 3 competition was tough to watch. Very happy to see him playing and being in contention after day one.

McIlroy and Spieth are both lurking dangerously close behind the leaders at -4. Keep a close eye on these two.
It's a long and very difficult course. One of the best, if not the best in the USA. Brilliantly designed to punish miscalculations.
Congratulations to Patrick Reed. I thought Fowler was going to force a playoff after the putt I saw that Reed had at 18, which was a seriously tricky-ass two putt to make from that spot.
Fowler is the best player in the world not to have won a major, He has been knocking at the door like crazy the last few years. But even if he is not a champion on the golf course, he is a champion in the bedroom, consistently showing up to these tournaments with hot babes watching him:

Great tournament again! Reed is very solid. He proved it at the Ryder cup.
As for Fowler well... He is good looking. Big time millionaire. Cool guy. Even me I would go out with him. But I am not hot so he had to resolved to dating that hottie.
