In a blowout Game 3 loss, the Oilers took 21 penalties for 85 penalty minutes, pulled their starting goaltender, had a near line-brawl, and one of their players was irritated enough to squirt a stream from his water bottle at the Florida bench.
Pas seulement une râclée.....un match dégoûtant/honteux.....ont complètement perdu le Nord.....des goons débiles....et un coach complètement dépassé par les évènements ....j'étais un fan....m'ont beaucoup refroidi....beaucoup.
The Oilers totally self destructed & suffered a nuclear melt in last night’s colossal embarrassing! But the playoffs war machine that the Panthers are will not be denied & appear on the brink of running over another foe in their quest for another Cup!
After the totally annihilated the Tampa Lightning in five games i knew that other teams would be in trouble. The Leafs were their toughest opponents & i’m still convincing that had Sam Bennett not concussed Anthony Stolarz we would have seen a different result in that series. That injury to their #1 goaltender totally changed that series!
If the Oilers lose again i’d be worried if i were an Edmonton fan since Connor Mcdavid will be UFA a year from now & figuring his next contract may be his last he very well may want to leave ice cold Edmonton for a better life elsewhere which would hopefully give him a better chance to win a Cup.
You keep saying Toronto would have beaten Florida and there is no evidence of this. They suffered back to back 6-1 losses at home and one player wasn't changing that result. The Panthers pounced on them, Toronto was going down and that is why some people have already lost their jobs and why Marner is being allowed to walk.
Principalement Kane, Arvidson, Walman et, surtout, Frederic qui, dans une scène digne de"Slaf Shot" tapochait allègrement un adversaire pendant que son coéquipier le retenait. Je me demande comment la ligue peut laisser passer de tels gestes sans rien faire.
Ni l’un ni l’autre n’ont condamné les gestes posés sous leurs yeux non plus, Knoblauch qui a pris grand soin de ne pas les les exposer après les événements en leur faisant servir les 2 minutes de certains joueurs expulsés.
Par contre en conférence d’après match il semblait se déresponsabiliser de tout ça en affirmant laconiquement que les "boys will be boys "! Quel hypocrisie, on sait tous que c’est lui qui a commandé tout ça à ses joueurs.
Si je m’appelle McDavid ou Draisaitl je m’assurerai d’avoir la tête bien haute pour le restant de la série puisque, de toute évidence, ses coéquipiers ont intentionnellement visé les meilleurs éléments des Panthers.
C’était Walman et non Frederic, il a eu $5000 pour ce geste et un autre pour un incident au banc, probablement lui qui arrosait les joueurs des Panthers avec sa bouteille d’eau.
