Marner didn't exactly have his best game last night. The 1 on 4 giveaway and the other goal in which he skated away from the puck and opened up the entire right side of the ice for the Panthers were disastrous plays for the Maple Leafs. The Panthers are the kind of team that will exploit these kinds of mistakes. Toronto to needs to tighten things up, and stop the charity.

I don’t know which game you were watching. I thought Marner was very good last night & he also picked up two points & directly responsible for two of his team’s goals. He also killed several penalties as the Leafs’ #1 penalty killer. The Leafs could easily had won this game had they capitalized on a couple of breakaways & not hit the post or crossbar a few times. Yes there were some mistakes made & some bad goals were let in but this happened on both sides. I felt the game was fairly even & could have went either way. The Leafs nearly took the lead in the final minutes but hey it’s the playoffs! Go Leafs Go!

Edmonton goalie Calvin Pickard out with an injury & ruled day-to-day. Stuart Skinner gets the start in tonight’s game & this news comes at a wromg time for the Oilers since Pickard has been unbeaten so far in the playoffs & was fantastic in their last game vs Vegas. However this is an opportunity for Skinner to get his number one job back! Go Oilers!

He was directly responsible for 2 Panthers goals. Paul Bissonnette was ready to bench him- they isolated his 1 on 4 giveaway and the other play where he skated away from the puck and the entire right side opened for the Panthers. Go watch the tape! Marner lost that game.
