Today the NY Jets fired GM Joe Douglas. What a joke this franchise is! The dominoes started falling the moment the meddling owner ordered the well-respected head coach fired after 5 games & replaced him with a coordinator that had zero head coaching experience! That was another mistake in itself. At the time the defence was playing great & once the move to name the defensive coordinator as head coach the defence started sucking! Then they replaced the offensive coordinator & replaced him with the QB coach & the offence hasn’t improved much even with Davante Adams joining the team. At the very least they should have let the coordinators stay put & replace Robert Saleh with Nathaniel Hackett. At least Hackett has previous head coaching experience! Anyways the Jets under MAGA owner Woody Johnson will always be the Jets: a team of losers. Aaron Rodgers may be 40 but he looks 60 on that team! And Davante Adams looks 40! Garrett Wilson has been their only bright spot & Mike Williams was traded to Pittsburgh & looks happy there after being thrown under the bus by Rodgers.

Beyonce playing at the Texas game for Christmas, perhaps some of her famous country songs.
They’re doing anything they can to get people to watch their games. This season they’ve been literally unwatchable & are one of the worst teams in football.

I can think of many other bands that would be a better draw than Beyonce for a Texas crowd.
I don’t think they had the ‘Texas crowd’ in mind when they hired Beyonce Knowles. It’ll be a major game shown on national tv so the entire country & the world watching is what they had in mind. I admit that it’ll definitely attract a lot of viewers who probably wouldn’t usually watch the game but will tune in to watch her. Count me among them since prior to hearing she’d be on i had zero intention of tuning in to watch one of the worst teams in football unless i’d bet a crazy amount of money on that game!

Many will tune in 10 min before the halftime show and turn it off right after and not even watch the game.
Maybe but the team will hit the jackpot with the advertising dollars in that particular time slot. And making money is why professional sports exist.

I really don't understand how you can allow not 1, but 2 kickoff return TDs in the final 3 minutes of a game to lose the game. This a total collapse. Can someone explain this to me?

Figured the Vikings would get an easy win but a win is a win, got lucky with the blocked fg.
A lot of people felt the same way about the Chiefs yet they barely escaped Carolina with a hard-fought win on a last second FG to clinch it.

KC hasn’t impressed me one bit this season and in my opinion should be a .500 team right now.

Elsewhere the Giants got destroyed by Baker Mayfield’s Buccaneers & i’m not sure they’d be able to beat a CFL team right now. They absolutely suck!

Has the magic run out for COMMANDERS????
When you give up 2 kickoff return TDs in the final 2:49 of a game to lose a game that otherwise would have been won, I would say the magic ran out to the other side of the field as a result of poor special teams coaching.
Also watch the kicker on that play- so late getting to where he needs to be. If I watch one more kickoff return TD where the kicker is a complete non factor in even impeding the returner I am going to vomit. At least be an impediment! I have seen many kickers coached to play the angles and shove a returner out of bounds, or else just get in front of him and make him cut. Be something don't be a zero.

Looks like it. They haven’t played well in their past few games & their win against Chicago on that hail mary pass was a fluke. Daniels hasn’t been very good either lately. Too many bad turnovers.

If you are wondering who will be the next head coach fired, I would bet good money on Matt Eberflus of Chicago being that guy:
Successful or at least strategic clock management is an essential skill for an NFL head coach. Many games are decided in the final 2 minutes of the game. Certainly the Bears announcers and fans were not happy with the play-calling or clock management here. I think calling that original play was a lot worse than hanging onto the timeout. Williams had another option available which was to spike the ball when he didn't like what he saw, but the coach put his rookie QB in a very difficult situation. Keep in mind the Bears had 1st down at the 50 yard line with 2 minutes to go.
