Hearing that the Jets are trading a conditional 3rd round pick to the Raiders for the star wide receiver. I’m sure there were a few other teams interested & willing to send them a 2nd rounder but most of them had cap issues & wanted the Raiders help cover his salary or all of it.

True! But a conditional 3rd round pick that COULD improve to a 2nd rounder.

It became fairly obvious that the Jets have a big drop off in the WR room. It was obvious to me before the season started but apparently they needed 6 games to figure out that you can't run a consistent offense with Garrett Wilson as your only capable WR.

It should be noted that Adams has caught 100 plus passes his last 4 seasons including 2 in LV, and 5 of his past 6. The only interruption was an 83 catch season playing only 12 games in 2019. That's pretty impressive production, HOF level production. He has 890 career receptions and will most likely eclipse 1,000 for his career.

It took them 6 games to realize that Mike Williams was a bust & struggling after ACL surgery. Rodgers doesn’t trust his tight ends. Allen Lazard is okay but just an average receiver. But for me the bigger problem is the offensive line. They just plain suck! Rodgers is getting murdered out there & the running game has been a massive disappointment. I’m not as sold as many are that the addition of Davante Adams will matter that much until the issues with the offensive line are dealt with & they can get Rodgers a reliable tight end to throw to.

The Jets OL is a big disappointment as they made many offseason moves to improve it. Their rushing attack has been hugely disappointing. The firing of head coach Robert Saleh, while necessary due to his terrible body language on the sidelines during games, is unlikely to shake the team up or help overcome flaws with this team.

Much like the Jets, the Bills needed a WR. Unlike the Jets, who needed a #2, the Bills right now need a #1 and a #2, although they have a few guys who look like 3/4 types that could develop into something more.

Season over for most teams that lose their starting QB. The Dolphins are going through the same thing. No matter what team it is, you have to hope your QB stays healthy, otherwise the team is fucked.

I’m hearing that Daniels is likely out for a few weeks due to likely fractured rib(s). However Marcus Marriotta is a very capable backup.

In other news the KC Chiefs acquired WR DeAndre Hopkins from the Titans for a 5th round pick. As for Green Bay they’ve just hired former Jets head coach Robert Saleh to join their coaching staff. He no doubt will be counted on to help out with the defence. The Jets haven’t improved since firing him & in fact have played worse & the defence went from great to bad. The players on their defence loved playing for him so maybe thismhas something to do with it. The Jets are 2-5 and their playoff hopes don’t look too great. Personally i think they replaced Saleh with the wrong assistant coach. They should have either stayed put or replace him with then OC Nathaniel Hackett instead of replacing him with the DC whose defence was playing great at the time. But instead the Jets caused even more chaos by moving everyone around instead of leaving the defence intact. And…AARON RODGERS LOOKS OLD.

I guess they were overly cautious with him a week ago when it was announced he may miss a few weeks. I hope this is indeed the case & that he isn’t being rushed into playing. By the way is Tua playing? I was supposed to go,see the Bills-Dolphins game next week but cancelled my trip two weeks ago figuring he likely wouldn’t be playing. Now i’m hearing that he’ll definitely be playing in Buffalo & may actually play today.

Well...it seems so....coach McDaniel said Friday that TUNA would play taday. He was cleared from NFL' concussion protocol and was officially activated from injured reserve Saturday, setting him to start this afternoon......
