I'm planning to make a trip from the states in a few months, and have very little experience with legal pot. I'm not a big pot guy, but I've smoked on occasion. I tend to be in my own head a little too much when seeing an escort, and thought pot might be a good way to help me enjoy myself more. I'm thinking it may be fun to try some edibles before meeting with an escort, but have never done this before. Are girls In Montreal generally receptive to this, or is it frowned upon? While I'm on the subject. How do hotels feel about weed? Are they fine with it as long as you keep it to the balcony? And how hard is it for someone from the states who doesn't really know what he's talking about to purchase some?

You walk over to a store (there is one right on Ste Catherine), hand over cash and get the product. Hard but manageable.

People working at the store are quite friendly and helpful, in my experience.

As far as edibles are concerned, I am confused, to be honest. There were recent reports that most are outlawed, but still more recent ones say that they are indeed available now.

Yo can try to visit the official SQDC site and maybe get some information there. The slight problem is that the site is only available in Canada -- or so they think -- but if you are a nerd, it should not take you more than a couple of minutes to get around that.

The SQDC site does not list any edibles at the moment, although it has a few beverages. Which probably does not mean much one way or another.

The site is not really much help, but at least you can find a store locator there.

Hi Duubouu.

You can get softgels (pills) that you can ingest orally. As a local resident, I simply have them delivered to me via regular post (if you want specifics - I order Argyle (Indica) Tweed pills).
If you are not a regular user of cannabis (and haven't developed a tolerance), I would strongly suggest that you not exceed 10mg. Ingesting cannabis orally takes longer for it to take effect, and it's very easy for you to take more than you should. I use cannabis 5-6 times a year (once every two months or so) and sticking by that limit (ONE pill of Argyle Indica) feels right to me.
As long as you don't overdo it, my assumption is that it'll be fine with any SP you encounter. Just let them know. It does help a lot with physical sensations and enjoying your encounter.
If you decide to smoke... it's true that it can temporarily annoy residents or neighbors, but in practice that's kinda bull. Literally no one cares in Montreal, and it's pretty common to smell/see people smoke on the street. Just mind how you smell as it can turn off some SPs if you smell (and taste) like cannabis.

Same here. But only as long as it is sativa; indica has an opposite effect on me.

Pre-rolled joints are a great help, agreed, except when they are all sold out. Which unfortunately happens sometimes in Montreal.

Max - That has been my experience several years ago. It made me so horny. Recently, I tried to recapture my youth and I smoked a joint with an SP after SOG#1. Upon my first toke, I coughed up a lung. Yes indeed edibles have been legalized recently throughout Canada, but our current provincial government are like old nuns from the 50s, so they're still blocking a lot of it. They also raised the minimum age from 18 to 21 on january 1st, if that matters to you (probably not). The thing with edibles is that it's hard to dose yourself properly, because it takes a long time to act compare to smoking or vaping.

Honestly, i would ask the girl first if she's ok with that, just by respect (might be more complicated if you book an agency girl). Maybe she will even propose to smoke some with you during your session. It happened to me before.

For hotels, honestly the world didn't change when they legalized and while there's always been a gray zone for that, common sense comes first. I would not recommend smoking weed in an hotel room or balcony as you may get complaints just like with cigarette, but to each his own. To buy, don't worry too much. Check for SQDC stores, they have a security guard at entrance to check your age but inside it's pretty straight forward.

Hey Duudouu, if you aren't an experienced smoker or have a tolerance to THC. I highly suggest NOT to smoke weed or have edibles before going to see an escort.

I am more than a veteran, you could say I am Delta Force of pot smoking.

For you to get that relaxed feeling, you need to have some tolerance to it, otherwise you're just gonna be on a trip. The weed you would get here in QC is way stronger than common illegal weed in the US.
smoking weed, will give you bad breath and dry mouth.
edibles, since you don't know your tolerance, you could end up with a bad high for several several hours.

In my experience, most girls will notice if you are high, they won't give you shit for it, but I know they don't necessarily like when their client is intoxicated for many many reasons.
A lot of girls are 420 friendly, in that case, if you smoke together, that could work... but pay attention to how much you smoke, because im 100% sure the girl would have a better tolerance than you, so dont try to keep up lol.

I know you're meaning, when you say that you are too in your head. If you are not relaxed and anxious before the rendez-vous, getting high on THC won't really change that, it'll make you more paranoid. So you pretty much need to be in a good state of mind already, in that case, you wouldn't need weed.
I suggest a little bit of alcohol, just enough to keep the edge off.

If you really must go the THC route, then try it out on your own first, and find the dosage that works for you.
