First, I want to say hi and thank everyone who has contributed to the wealth of information here as it has been valuable for me.
My next question is seeking the opinion of fellow members and agency reps in regards to booking agency ladies. I will be visiting Montreal in November and am interested in a few reputable agencies such as Eleganza, GOF, etc.
I have read the sticky regarding race and SP preferences in great length, it was an interesting read to be sure. This leads me to my question. When requesting a lady, should I mention that I am part of the visible minority? The reason this concerns me is that I do not want to end of in an uncomfortable situation if the lady has preferences (as she is entitled to) and to save some time and headache. A lot of the agency websites don't list restrictions for their ladies so it is difficult to select the ones that would be open to me.
I have seen independents in the past but it appears in Montreal agency ladies are the way to go. I prefer independents simply because I know I am speaking directly with the ladies and I can bring up my concerns with her directly. Therefore she has the choice of whether to see me or not. I do not know how it works for agencies and if the lines of communications are as open between the booker and the lady to relay this kind of information to her. In your experiences, which would you recommend? To keep quiet and hope for the best or to bring up this 'sticky' topic up-front with the agency?
Also, one last question. I will be staying in a keyed hotel unfortunately. Is it a good idea to suggest meeting the lady in the bar or something so that I can get her access to my room? I want to be as discreet as possible without alerting the hotel staff.
Thanks in advance!
