Is It Appropriate to Inquire About Menu Options with Service Providers?

I think the moment someone asks for directly what services do you provide, and even worse what is your menu, it is a bothersome question to many SPs. Sure some have a menu ready to share, but most I know of want to be able to tailor make the expierience for the client they are seeing, not have a checklist to have to follow. Not everyone is into the same things.
I agree. I think chemistry is important and so is getting to know each other, which is why I repeat when it clicks. And then the rest will follow.
I don’t believe in asking for a menu or services because a lot of it is based on YMMV.

I don’t mean to demean some guys, and we all have our ways of inquiring. But a pet peeve of mine is when replying to a detailed review with a few words:
“DFK? CIM? Anal!”

WTF? It’s not a one size fits all. It probably depends on YMMV, are you a repeat customer, is there good chemistry, etc. Maybe the regular who’s repeated a bunch of times gets DFK, but the first time client no. Duh.

Anyway, I like to repeat when it clicks, and I never asked for a list of menu items. lol!

To each their own!

Recently, a member comment on another thread, stating that if all menu details aren't included, then the review is useless. I completely disagree with this viewpoint, as everyone has different requirements when choosing service providers. Essentially, the member is suggesting that when I write a review after booking a service, I should include all menu details. I found this amusing because, even though I'm not particularly focused on those extra menu details, I still need to include them in my review. Of course, if he’s paying for the service, I will ensure to mention everything about the menu. It's quite amusing to see the audacity some members display on this forum, almost as if i was working for them.I now understand why some members choose to stop writing reviews, and it's due to the ungrateful individuals who are negatively and ruining it for everyone on this platform.

Why can't he just ask the provider directly?

Some members believe that their status as long time member grants them control over the entire forum, leading them to instruct others on how to share their experiences. No one is concerned about whether you are a long standing member; what truly matters is what you contribute. Whether you are new or old is irrelevant.

I really don't see what the problem is. This isn't a tinder date where you're gonna meet up to see if it clicks. The clicking part for many is a bonus... not a feature. I just don't see why this is even up for discussion. A guy wants to know if she can deliver or not. Detailed reviews is the the heart of this board. It has often even made me see girls I NEVER would have just based on their profiles. I don't see girls that have super restrictive offerings, so ya, I really prefer to know before I waste a minute inquiring. This is sex we're talking about. I want to know exactly what's not possible so I can move on towards a girl that does.

As for why we can't just ask the girl: delays, rediculous responses, their mood swings... I mean the list of reasons why I would want to keep the discussion to a minimum is quite long. And sometimes the process is really annoying. You girls here, seem pretty normal, you express yourselves well...but the outside world isn't always that simple. I don't want to spend 10 minutes chatting every girl just to decide if I want to book or not. I prefer my mind to be made before I pull the trigger.

YMMV really is too vague. When you're paying, the last thing you want is vague.

You can easily ask an indy.
Not sure which member Obvio is referring to. But I am sure that merbite is A GOD. Good thing we have members like that who write real reviews. Would love for @Obvio-0bvio to share that review instead of hiding the identity of this amazing reviewer.
You can’t ask agency girls directly. And most bookers don’t know
I have asked indy’s in the past and chosen to see or not see them based on their restrictions. Neither one of us can be disappointed if we have the info beforehand.
If cim is important to me and the sp doesn’t offer it. If I go see her. i can’t be disappointed.
If I don’t know and upon meeting she says no. She might be disappointed that I won’t repeat with her. (Yes. Some sp have asked me to repeat)
That should answer the why I can’t ask directly.

But that does not answer your question about why can’t he. Since we don’t know the identity of this mysterious and probably legendary reviewer without reading every single review

The beauty of the board. Is we are all entitled to an opinion.
A hotel, restaurant or even movie review is all about the details.
Did said member call you out to say you specifically need to add more details?
Or are you AGAIN criticizing a viewpoint different than yours?

I see what you mean now! I've never worked for an agency and I was always told that the type of service SP's offer is pretty much gfe..

Agency girl have same offering as indy girl. Some are pse. Some are gfe. But unless it is written in review. Or shared in a close circle of 40-50 friends. It is hard to know.
