Agency/Provider websites: Goods and Bads

Hi all,

We've all been going through these websites for a while now. And we have to admit, some are just overstanding, some average, and the others just don't get it.

Of all the websites that came out in the past years, some have evolved in an amazing way. They have upgraded quality of their websites significantly, some have removed useless options that were not working anyway, and some others just made it easier for people to get through.

In hope of bringing these websites to a higher level I'd like to share these comments with you. And maybe you could add your opinions on the matter too

MontrealSexCity: IMHO, the greatest achievement (with MontrealSexCity) since they came to life. They have simplified their websites greatly.

Satin Dreams: Close 2nd after MontrealSexCity. They have also simplified their websites greatly (normal, since they are partners), which is a giant step for the business. Although, pictures of Mélanie aren't doing her justice, and actually you should stop advertising new pics on the board (it's been two weeks now) cause nothing has changed since. There is also a typo you should be aware of satindreamz @ [B]hotamil[/B] .com . The Rates section is redundant after 4 hours.

Devilish: A long time favorite. They have always presented quality pictures. Everything is now functionnal (remember when the "Who's on tonite" was showing the same girls over and over?). At the moment, they have only one thing which bugs me greatly, frame size (too small). It doesn't fit my screen. The frame is so small, that you even have to scroll down to see the pictures. Hopefully, this will change.

Eleganza: Good websites, with upgraded pictures on the way apparently (see Karina). Although, the main page is kinda stuck on the right side. The sidebar on the left is taking too much space.

Excentrixxx/MontrealGeisha/mtlcstation/Venusxxx/LesFrivoles.com: Confusing!!! This is probably the most crazy deal ever. They have really good (suggestive/core) pictures but too many of the same posture, and please, to many little icons at the bottom. This needs serious cleaning. Can't really explain what is happenning, but this is, as a website, a big turn off.

I am sure you've a good idea of what I am trying to point out here. There is many more agencies that probably needs to revamp or entirely redo there websites. And some others just needs to be congratulate on their excellency.

Short and sweet, straight to the point: Asservissantes

Other good ones. In no specific order, some might be missing:

Satin Dreamz is cool. Simple, easy.

MtlSexCity. I prefered the previous version. New colors make it harder to look at.

Devilish, just enough frames to keep you interested, and it's easier to maintain for the webmaster!

GOF, Kudo for the option between HTML and Flash! That's something most sites don't care.

Eleganza, I like! Sometimes problems with frames but mostly very good.

Woman of Passion: Cut the flash intro and it will be a gain. Plus, what's with this thumbnail slider that moves all over the place? Annoying! Then click on a pic, it open a window, click again to close, click again to see next image, click again to close... ARRGGHHHH!! But I still like the layout, if the Flash could be dimmed...

And the bads, in my opinion:

Worst by a LOOONNNGGGG shot: Montreal Geisha. Incredibely hard to navigate, totally counterintuitive, Good idea with pages for each girls but, tons of pictures who pop in their own frames, slowing things down, thumbnails way too small, lack of info...

Followed by Sexy Nadia. Way too slow. Too much frills not enough info unless you want to wait forever and the damn sound effect and impossible-to-bypass animation!!! Peoples want to get meaningful info, not a sci-fi show!

That's only my opinion!

XXXTase - Very nice looking website, but you can't click through to see the pictures of the girls from the Who's On Today menu, which gets kind of annoying. The Flash intro at the start is a bit overdone as well.

ChocolateLoveDivas - Doesn't run in Safari and I'm a Mac User, which kind of forces me into loading FireFox if I want to check out their site.

Sorry bensonnobalia ! I disagree a bit.

Sometime there is a good shot but Photography for me, is an art.
Although with Geisha...you really know what your getting if it is what you're saying.

You want a good eye ? the best exemple is the new pics from Karyna at Eleganza. vs. the previous ones.

Good shots include for exemple : Montrealxxxtase : 1st and 3rd pic from Alexxx, 3rd pic of Lilly, 2nd pic of Vicky, 3rd pic Paola, etc... those are good shots. (and there's more)

Eleganza's Leah has good ones also !
Devilish has many 'fashion' ones also.
Geisha has some, french muse, many indies are good ones,
Nadya has good ones. Well not only shots

Ariane valmont... My opinion is : your website is quick, easy, straitghforward and very well done.

There's many good ones from the above or not mentionned website but again...it depends what your looking for : Fashion like or 'real life'.

Mind you. Some of those girls are sexier than even their best 'fashion shot'.

Listen, in all fairness to Montreal Geisha, IMHO their photographer is the best in the business right now. He makes those girls look amazing.

He knows lighting, he knows framing and he knows how to bring out the best in each lady.

I hope that everybody understands that these are just opinions in hope that the providers upgrade their websites and nothing else.

Montreal Geisha have really good pictures as mentionned previously (although, some pictures are too dark to my taste, not showing the ladies at their best). But the website is too difficult to get through. If it's a turn off for one, it might be a turn off for many. If it's a turn off for many, then business is not getting popular on the market.

the annoucement had a unfortunate famely issu and we actually aren't
even sure she will be back

How about Eleganza ?
You really have to be alone to open this one.
It opens quickly and bang ! you just have time to reduce the window if you are accessing it, being anywhere other than in your room.

Is it me..? but the simplest way would be to have an introductory page just telling the name, asking the age, etc... no animation, sounds, or anything to wack on your screen right away !

This way you can open their site and then navigate discreetly.
Then...you can put all the animation you want.

I have to disagree on this one. And I did professional photography when I was younger. These pics are more "concept type" where you are pushing a concept rather than the girls themselves. Like Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" video.

IMHO, all girls look too much the same because of the same type of views. Lightning is "too artistic" to be of any value in presenting the girls for what they really look like, it's rather hiding what they don't have. Too many dark shadows and dark spots. Customer-wise, for this type of business, a good picture is one that show the girl's possibilities, her photogenic side and how she really look like, not one that hides the deficiencies and make any girl look good.

Again, I'm not saying these are not good pictures! They are good! I'm saying they are not appropriate for the usage intended.

I like Eleganza's formula for pictures...panties, heals, and stockings.

One thing that was not mentioned was the ability to right click on a picture of a girl and save in a new window. Many sites wont allow you to do this. I used to review on TER (The Erotic Review). You would add a link to the web site of the agency and add a second link directly to the girl that you are reviewing. To add a link directly to the girl that you are reviewing you would have to right click on the girls picture and save in a new window. I remember I was trying to do this for Liz of Xxxtase. Their website would not allow this operation. This was very frustrating. I called Martin and told him that I was having a problem posting a review of one of his girls. He said "So What. My phone is ringing off the hook." That was the day I stopped reviewing for TER.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hungry, it's on purpose to prevent the images from being stolen. Not 100% efficient but it makes it more complicated.

Thanks metoo4. Thats what I figured. Just a pain in the ass when you are trying to review. They refused my review of Liz because I could not provide a direct link to her on Xxxtase's web site due to this feature.

TER. It was a surprize. A Mod from TER said that because I could not provide a direct link to the girl that they wouldn't post the review. I even wrote them a note explaining that you can't right click and save in a new window on the Xxxtase site. I argued that they accepted reviews from me and others before for Xxxtase. For TER you can have full access to the site by paying a fee or by submitting a review for escorts twice a month. I think they wanted me to cut them the check rather then submit 2 reviews per month to gain full access to the site. So I said piss on it. I don't want too many people going to Montreal anyway. Let em go to Vegas.

I like the lower tech, non artisic photos, shadows can hide alot, but whatever.
What's with geisha's site though - it fights my computer all the way and I can't select anything. Newest version of flash or what?

Bungo, it's just a bad design by a psuedo web masters who think everybody's sitting at the server's console as they do while viewing the site.

A good web master know that the quality of the presentation, tue ease of use and the validity of the info presented is paramount and all the rest is just frills. A web site should be build with the message as the most important thing, not it's presentation. Lots of sites forget this and only delivers a presentation, neglecting what would make the message useful.

It's not a problem with the software, it's a problem with site designers going mad and opting for multiplying gadgets instead of useful and easy to access info. Some still think bells and whistles can compensate for other problems.
