Akward moment running into an SP

I had a slightly difference experience last summer. After attending a comedy show with a large group of friends, we decided to go for drinks and found a large outdoor terrace on Ste. Catherine's St. Lo and behold, isn't the hostess a former stripper who I had seen many, many times and had become quite friendly before she retired when the pandemic hit. We recognized each other immediately, but neither of us knew how to handle the situation. As I contemplated the situation while having my beer, I desperately wanted to find an excuse to say hello, but needed a plausible excuse. It finally hit me. I went over and asked her if it was OK if we chatted. She was genuinely enthusiastic. We spend a lovely 10 minutes catching up. When I returned to my group, everybody wanted to know i could possibly know this much younger beauty. At first I puller their legs and said that I was so enraptured by this woman and spontaneously decided to ask her out. They were all blown away. I then came clean and told them that I knew this women, but could not figure out from where, until it hit me and I told them the truth: that she had briefly worked as a receptionist at a company I had worked for several years earlier. All worked out great and I reconnected with a old "friend".

A few years ago at the Ritz for brunch saw a gorgeous brunette with her blonde girlfriend (who had full arm tattoos) sitting together sipping mimosas. Both were in their early 20s. Didn’t recognize them, but couldn’t help thinking they were SPs.

Any other restaurants or bars known to be frequented by SPs? There used to be Hotel de la Montagne, but don’t know if that’s still a thing.
If you’re into meeting SPs organically, you might like the thread that I’m about to make ;)

Bumped into one of my regular Sp’s from Montreal Sex City days at the Marche Central Costco. We were both alone and laughed about it.
booked an appointment with her the next day

Never really understood the dinner SP date. I would never pay someone to have dinner with me if they otherwise wouldn't be there.

However, I have seen a couple SP's out in the wilderness of the transit system.
Ya, I've seen a few SPs out in public just by pure chance.

Like one time, I saw Kyra XO, Sabrina XO and Sasha at Vogue, Katrina Vianna and I think I saw Kate XO one time walking around in public but I don't think any of them noticed. Like I said, just by pure coincidence and chance.

Same here. Depends on the places you go. Depends on how well you know the SP you run into. For example, I met a girl that used to be Lili at 2214 at Bord'Elle once. She was there with 2 other girls. I was there with some people. I know Lili's real name and just went over and said "Hi <real name>" bought her and her friends drinks, spent some time talking with them, asked them to send me links to their SA profile pages, more as a joke but since they were there with Lili I figured they might actually have one, which they did. :D

If I ever ran into an SP in my every day life, I would simply leave her alone. There wouldn't be any awkward moment. Just... let her be.
Definitely, I think it’s just common sense, I have seen, at times, some of them in public and I, personally, had no need for letting them know I was there. Only on subsequent visits had I told them and, all of them, without exception, said that they really appreciated my invisibility! Even if I was 100% certain the girl is alone, I would keep it low and go on with my thing.

That’s the right thing to do!
I wish that would apply to the SP who screamed out my first name to get my attention while I was with friends in the Old Port...

Exactly... how pretentious would I be to even think she'd be happy to see me in public out of the blue. We, clients and providers, live a double life. Don't mix them.

Yup, I used to see this sp in my town. She was in a lesbian couple with another sp.
I saw her about 3-4 times and one day they broke up (I didn't know this at the time) and I booked her ex girlfriend. Well the ex girlfriend asked for money first, I gave her the money and she just left my place stealing my money.

About 3 months later I go to tim hortons for a quick breakfast and the girl making my sandwich kept trying to make conversation with me and it took me a while to realize she was that SP I used to see (the first one). When she saw that I finally noticed who she was she told me she broke up with her ex and made small talk with me. Was definitely a surprise but I'm happy for her, she must have been in a bad place in her life at the time and was turning her life around I hope.

I realized that it might happen more often than we think. A girl at XO that I saw ~3 times once told me that she saw me at a coffee shop on Parc that turns out we both love (I would go every chance when I would visit my mom who lived in the area). Out of discretion, she had not approached me. I appreciated that (even though I was certainly alone). Respectful and classy. Although I have fantasized about running into her again there and her taking me back to her place... sigh... lol

It happened to me but I ran into this client for a job interview, he was a regular for several years and it was a multi stage interview for a job, and he was the hiring/sales manager and my final interview. It literally was the most awkward In person interview I had in my life and we both "pretended we did not know each other" as he was also with the human resources lead. The bad thing thing was it was for a position that was stellar with tons of benefits ( outstanding salary 3 weeks vacation, 10 personal days, RRSP contrib, and full health coverage from day one) but I did not get the job. It would have been great if the hiring manager was not going to be my direct manager but it would have been very awkward working under him with my full name and all my credentials listed to my name. For all the sps who are graduating and translating into civilian work that might happen lol

It happened to me a few times but most of those times the lady didn’t see me so there was no awkward moment. However one time on my one & only time ever that i attended a Cirque du Soleil show with an ex girlfriend of mine i bumped into my then all-time favorite sp whom I hadn’t seen in a year or so. She worked as a hostess in the VIP tent & we instantly recognized one another when she approached me & offered me a glass of champagne. Our eyes met & we were both stunned! A few minutes later my gf noticed i was acting different & also noticed that every time she looked in the girl’s direction she’d be staring towards our direction & would immediately look away when caught. My gf also noticed that she had been keeping her distance from us since that initial contact. My gf asked me “It almost looks like you two once fucked one another.” I chuckled nervously and replied “actually, you’re not too far from the truth.” My gf kept staring at her direction & i kept having to tell her to stop staring at her since i didn’t want the girl to feel uncomfortable. Lol

One other girl i saw one time. Her day job was as one of the chefs at a high end restaurant. She didn’t say which one nor did i want to know. Anyways she had previously asked me which of Montreal’s restaurants were my favorite & later when she told me abour her ‘real’ job she added that there was a good chance that we might bump into one another at the restaurant she worked at & she told me not to be embarrassed if it happened & that i should not act like a stranger if i saw her & just go ahead say hello & greet her. Just not to bring her ‘side job’ up. I don’t think we ever bumped into one another but then again i’ve never been great with remembering faces. I’m great with names, dates & silly unimportant details but faces? Nope! Lol

Funniest one i heard was from a former sp that i was very good friends with whom i’d go out for drinks or dinner every time i’d be in town. She had a regular day job & had befriended one of the girls from that office job. One evening the two girls were on a night out in Mtl & her friend told her she needed to make a quick stop by a popular downtown restaurant since she needed to speak or get something from her father who happened to be at that restaurant with friends or colleagues of his. Her friend told her to come in with her since she wanted to introduce her to her dad. Well to my friend’s shock he just happened to be one of her regulars! Holy shit! I laughed & asked her how she reacted…she said it was the most shocking & embarrassing moment in her entire life! Lol. She added that right away he had a look of total horror when he recognized her & that she likely had the same reaction. She said after being introduced to him the first thing she wanted to do was to get the hell out of there! Her friend noticed she was acting strangely & my friend replied that she was just feeling a bit ill from not eating all day. “We can go back inside & eat something if you want?”, her friend asked, “No thank you i suddenly feel much better now!”, my friend replied. Lol

The gentleman never called to see her again. Lol

Thats the kind of thing that can easily happen to me if the SW cannot handle the situation properly. All my ex have this extra spyder sense power. Not that I care so much, an ex is an ex, if she asks questions she has to be ready to hear the answers. I wouldn’t go as far as to specify the circumstances in which I met the girl though, no need to reveal unnecessary details.
