American taking a stand on hourly pricing

Exchange rate sitting at 1.23 this morning while it seems every agency (less JDM) has made an hourly price increase this past year.

I am hereby setting my personal max rate at $160CDN per hour - I figure if peope were to join me (which is as likely as the Expos returning to Olympic next season) that the >160 agencies would have no choice but to lower their rate.

My new policy (and I know this is post #1 for me) is

GOOD NEWS FOR: Asservissante, Luxure, Satin Dreams, etc.

BAD NEWS FOR: Dangerous Curves & Eleganza

Part of what made Montreal attractive as a hobbyist was affordability and at these prices/xrates, it is sadly losing its appeal. A shame because it is a magnificent city.

Well SeriousAndProfessional you brought up a good point, but it's inevitable, it's called GREED, lol, and the worse part, no matter how much higher you pay, it's the same you end up getting, most of the working "girls" are same, just move around from time to time.

Your idea of setting a max rate seems smart, will sure make some think, but most of the agencies owners aren't that smart, hehehe, they might just charge more to compensate for the losses, lol.

Since this is your first post I guess you weren't here a year or two ago when Asservissante raised its prices from $140 to $160. Subsequently there was a long thread started with a post like yours, there were lots of additional rebellious posts and threats of a boycott, yada, yada, yada, and now the same guys who were the biggest bitchers and moaners in that thread still call the agency and see his SPs. And now you praise it as the norm! What bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As in any market, it is only worth what guys are willing to pay. The customer is in control. If the agencies could charge $500 an hour and get it, they certainly would. The hobby is a luxury and not a necessity like food, gas, or shelter. But there is one problem. Everyone here are such HORNEY BASTARDS, that the agencies somehow get away with it.

Even with the poor exchange, Montreal still provides great bang for the buck !!! Jacques & Fantasme have always provided me with good girls for low rates, but recent reviews don't seem to be as assuring ?

Martin at Asservissante has always been good to me & even an agency like Eleganza who charges the $180 is reasonable for me. Hotel & travel costs take away from the savings, but these young french-canadian hotties are a lot of fun !!!

Montreal is unsurpassed when it comes to price, quality and service. So stop whining while you have a good thing here in MTL. I used to live in British Columbia and while there are beauties galore there, the price and service are nowhere near the level of Montreal.

In recent years the service in the Boston area has improved drastically ! There are no shortages of GFE's. Outcalls are available, but incalls are now the name of the game. I can't place a call & have a young pettite french canadian girl who offers GFE services arrive at my door.

We should be thanking our lucky stars for Montreal

Does anyone watch HBO? If you get a chance, take a gander at the series "Cathouse" which delves into the day to day operations of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada just outside of the Vegas city limits. It just started its second season and is only a few episodes long.

I've visiting Montreal for 5 years, a couple times a year. I've seen an even dozen SP's. Thats not a lot for some of you I know, but thats not my point. I will simply say that having seen what I have seen in Montreal and watched that show I was dumbfounded as to why anyone would go to one of the Vegas area brothels if this particular one is indicative of the others.

First of all there is absolutely no comparison between the two. 9 out of 10 girls in that brothel are just gross. I'm talking fat, crooked teeth, looks like a man ugly. There are only three girls that I have seen on that show that I would even be able to get hard for. One of them is Porn Starlet Sunset Thomas who happens to be good friends with the owner. The other two would be girls that I would consider average for Montreal.

Now sit down and get ready for this because you might have a coronary when you hear that these girls are charging $1,000 US and up for FS!!!

Whats really amazing is that guys actually go there and pay it! Why?? I remember the first time I saw the show and heard the girl name her price I spat out my drink ala Jerry Lewis. I thought, "NO... she DIDN'T say $1,000." But she did!

I realized at that moment how incredibly lucky we all are to have local access to the greatest city in the world for SP's. Looks, service, price, you name it, there is no where that offers a better experience than Montreal.

As far as prices going up, thats the nature of business. The market will dictate its prices according to what people will pay for what they want. I have paid as little as 140CAD and as much as 550CAD. In each case I got what I paid for and I was more than happy to pay it.

As a matter of fact I can hardly wait to repeat with the 550CAD lady since she was undoubtedly the most gorgeous woman I have ever met in person and she was worth every penny. If you want to know who she is look for the thread in Escort 411 on most beautiful face and you will see many merbites agree with my sentiment.

I understand that not everyone can afford this price but there are still hundreds of good looking SP's in Montreal who are affordable to the average Joe. I'm not filthy rich either but I know what I like and I'll pay whatever it costs to get what I want. If that means I can only see her for 2 hours, 3 or 4 times a year then thats what I will do. I make a budget for myself and I stick to it.

And, yes, it is extremely funny to remember the whining and yowling over Asservissante's price rise and then see people praising DC's and Eleganza's women without mentioning that the agencies charge higher rates than Asservissante. As Eager pointed out, the latest protester holds out Assvt. as one of the good guys. Funny world.

On my last trip to Vegas one of our cab drivers actually offered to take us to the Bunny ranch. He had a pricelist of the charges & we were shocked. Vegas escorts are not cheap either, but a beautiful woman can be had for much less at your hotel.

After being spoiled for years I couldn't imagine going to the bunny ranch or any of the other brothels. Most of them perform a genital inspection on their customers. I understand the reasoning, but I think I'll pass. Those places are for suckers & people who don't know better.

I have been able to find a couple of independent incalls for the $100 to $120. range and I have to tell you, even though there were a couple of experiences where I paid $60, to a BJ and left it at that, I have been able to find a couple who are excellent and the service is great. Who knows, maybe all these talks do have an impact. I just noticed that the Elite Montreal Models site is gone, and there is no reference to it from the IN site anymore. Don't know what the market is for these ultra-expensive and ultra-exclusive ladies with pricing at C$400/450 an hour, my guess is that it is tiny and repeat customers are close to zilch. I have heard recent complains from HDH's at C$300 that business has been very slow, and these are attractive ladies providing very good services. Not to pick on Zoe from IN, but just as an example. She provided me with one of the best rendezvous I have had, and I would repeat at C$300. But at C$400? No thanks and I wish her the best of luck. She was listed for C$400 during GP week on the EMM site.

Personally I draw my line at $300, which already gives me an almost inexhaustible list of SPs I would like to see. The only exception I have made is when a FKS lady was touring in Boston it was $350 to see her for an hour. I always wanted to see her, but the schedule had not worked out in the past when I visited MTL.

IMO, Montreal is the best city in North America for hobbying, and Las Vegas is the worst. I visited the Mustang Ranch years ago when it was owned by Uncle Sam. They were behind in taxes and IRS took over and appointed a manager (a woman as I recall) to run the business until it was unloaded. I was able to negotiate a "reasonable" price of $200 for FS, starting out from something like $1,000. What a hazzle. Boston is very dry and good SPs are very difficult to find and I have pretty much given up. Alpha in Hartford used to be my favorite, until they were closed down a year ago. MTL is three times the driving distance compared to Hartford, but it is worth every minute of the driving up there for the hobbying experience you just cannot find anywhere else, and at prices that are reasonable and are the lowest in North America.

If you want Asians, the SF Bay Area is the best place. If you like Latinas, Mexico is where it's at. For prices, Tijuana & Ensenada beat Montreal hands down. Now, if you like blondes and brunette Caucasian babes, then Montreal wins hands down.

Everything have an increased price by now. Per example, gas is now 99.9¢ per liter around here. We were paying something like 65¢ less than 5 years ago.
