Anyone get these threats from managers or pimps? Are they scams?

It depends... Did you screw someone recently? We do not know your acquaintances. Do you own money for drugs?
If you are really concern about it, go to the police.
Or maybe you are just trying to catch attention? I reviewed your posts and you ask lot of questions. Once you asked "where to buy a wedding ring"... did you buy it?
Anyway, seriously...
Me, I receive a lot of emails pretending I won $1,000 from Walmart? Not much threats often a fake FedEx asking to pay a fake fee for delivery. All those are filtered and they go directly in the spam mail.
And sometimes phone calls all in Chinese. Unless I know who is calling I let it go on the voice mail.
Often those emails and phone calls are just to confirm that someone is linked to the random target they selected and after they continue their fishing. When you answer you become an easy target.
Again if you feel bad about it, go to the police!

The troubling symptoms from the wonderful platform of Leolist .Regrettably, this issue is a recurring occurrence, happening on a daily basis.

Here is a brief overview: When contacting a service provider on Leolist, your phone number is often illicitly sold to a third party located outside of Canada.

This is likely due to the stringent laws against extortion in Canada, prompting these individuals to operate from abroad where legal repercussions are less severe and investigations are shorter.

While many of these instances may seem harmless initially, they can quickly escalate if one is not cautious.

The best course of action is to block these individuals and avoid engaging with them. If they sense any vulnerability, they may resort to harassing behavior.

The key is to ignore them and move forward without giving in to their tactics.

Theirs already a big thread on this issue.

It is important not to go to great lengths to change your phone number just to avoid scammers. Instead of undergoing the hassle of changing your number, a more practical approach would be to simply block the scammers.

I actually just want to troll with them. I can offer them fortune cookies, or burger king gift cards. Maybe they are hungry

keep all of this and report it to the police. Even if its spam or fake, those are serious treats. Believe me the police have ways to retrace those sms and phone calls.

The main challenge is that people are reluctant to report because they are clients who do not want their names connected to prostitution activities in any reports.

Tell them to keep talking with you so the RCMP has enough time to trace their call.
It appears that you guys watch a lot of movies. Do you realize the high cost involved in tracing a phone number or pinpointing a location? Moreover, obtaining a warrant is a necessary step before initiating the process. Law enforcement may not prioritize assisting clients or service providers unless there is a threat of violence or a case of rape.

Nobody is going to anyones location to cause harm. They are scammers who are trying to get us to pay. If they do do something to us here, they must be morons considering its a safe country and they will get caught. Not mentioning the cost and effort it will take them to do this.

It's a scam. This has been happening across the country with shady pimps and scumbags trying to randomly harass clients. Just block the number.

It literally takes me less than 10 minutes to change my #, not really a hassle compared to harassment, sure u can block one # they are texting u from, theyll just use a bunch of others

Just ignore it. Block the number if you want but the main rule is never respond. The scammers will just move on to someone else. It's only if you reply that they will keep trying because they think you are a fish on a hook. Another reason to only contact women with a legitimate online presence, reviews, etc. Fwiw, it's likely not pimps or managers anyway. Those fools are cowards and pussies and not man enough to do anything.

This was meant to scare the scammed... besides, un the case of serious death threat, you can indeed get help from the authorities. If you think they wll do it for rape, think murder?

Not via text but live, I got scammed at motel metro near lajeunesse a few years back, her name was Katrina she used to work for Ferrari I met here a few times hot and great service, I was excited when I saw she was independent.

The thing is that she was a serious drug addict and I did not know it, her pimp was at motel metro when I got there, I paid her she left the room and the pimp told me i had to leave because the police was coming. I am not a small man 6 feet and 270 pounds but I did not know if he was alone tall and skinny he was.

I left and went to the dep behind the motel called Katrina, he took the phone and said never call back or he would tear my head off, now i had a good reason to call the police. I told the pimp to stay right there don't move and I would be back. I showed up with 4 policeman, the thing that did help me was the motel manager told that pimp to leave a few times.

End of story I got my money back and that pimp got rocked I got off with a warning and to never show my face again at motel metro. Scammers need to be put back in there place.

I was living in St eustache and a cuit girl put an add up, she was just across the highway from me maybe 5 minutes, book her but when I got to the apartment It look like a dump and some tires were left infront of her door that place did not feel safe so I just walked away.

Watching too much tv no death treats are serious and there are laws against this, and believe me they will find who ever sent them. Of course you can block the number but I guess I am too much of a hard head and been bullied too much as a teenager, now no one FKs with me.

This thread has been made many times across all boards.

No, no one will come and k!LL you and your family. They’re hoping that you’ll start crying and accept to pay them via bitcoin.
