Do you really think Brad Pitt would kick Marion Cotillard out of his bed? I wouldn't. You have to look at this from the man's perspective which, obviously, you cannot do. Fortunately I did not have to work with Marion on a movie set, but Brad did, and he wasn't getting any at home. At the end of the day he is a man with a penis like all the rest of us. You should not believe that he infallible because he is a celebrity and a decent actor.

I've loved Marion Cotillard since she portrayed the great Edit Piaf. She's a wonderful actress and easy on the eyes.

Nearly half of marriages end up in divorce after a few years. It would have actually been surprising to me had the marriage lasted. Especially a Hollywood marriage.

I like this illogical logic. xx ;-) Did you read the deny of Miss Cotillard? I guess not. She seems more than sincere, and she is talking exactly about how she doesn't care about rumours generally, but this time, people from her surrounding were suffering about that rumour.

In Quebec province and all Canada, we tend to believe people before to find them guilty of something, we need proves.
I know, that's different in the USA.

And for the case of Jolie-Pitt, what ever are the reasons, they don't love anymore each others, that's obvious.
We don't go divorcing because we fully love each other.

And, last, that's very sad for their children that they are divorcing publicly.

But this said, those all who divorced, separated having kids were wearing the same shoes.
That's sad but those things happen. Hope they will find peace of mind & heart soon.

And, after all, I don't mind very much about their couple.
I just find sad to see that, instead in the movies, in real life, love seems to not last for ever.

If it didn't happen the chivalrous thing for Pitt to do is deny it. Need I also mention that the failure to deny could also be problematic for his divorce case????? If the rumor is true any divorce attorney would tell Pitt do not make any public statements about it, no denials etc. This is common sense. Because if Pitt is later contradicted that statement will be pilloried in divorce court. But if it's the truth he has nothing to lose plus it's chivalry. So in my mind his silence enforces the validity of the rumor. And although silence is better than denial of truth, neither is good for divorce court.

And how naive is it to say that Cotillard "seems so sincere". She is a professional actress which means she is a professional liar!!!!! It's her job to be sincere, not sincere or whatever character she needs to project.

I would say I don't have tinted thoughts towards anyone except that they are public figures and public figures, be they male or female, are very calculated in their public statements or lack of statements. I do find significance when one party is silent and the other makes an emotional denial sounding like a rehearsed line from theater- from an Academy Award winning actress whose very talent is to get you to believe her!!!!! Maybe you are right about the sincerity but I tend to doubt it.

I do feel sorry for them on a certain level, because they can't win sometimes by saying anything. And it is possible (but in my view unlikely) that Pitt and his lawyers discussed issuing a denial and it was believed that no good would come of it and it would merely serve to dignify the rumors. However, although Hollywood tabloids are sordid and crude in their reporting, there is usually smoke where there is fire on these kinds of stories. Could it be that Pitt and Cotillard stayed in character a bit outside the movie set? Could it be that Pitt thought a denial would hurt the box office? Well if so they both know the cameras are always on them. And their box office is usually good. Fortunately you and I will never need to worry with dealing with ravenous media in this type of situation. The nature of interaction between escort and the average client who isn't Eliot Spitzer or Charlie Sheen is that we simply are not news.
