Be patient, don't put any pressure on her, act cool... This will get you a long way.

But also, be realistic about your expectations. Try to stick with girls that are in your league. Some guys are completely delusional. They look like Ron Jeremy (no offence to Ron but time has not been kind on him) and have the IQ of a poodle but they still think they can get the hot girls. Go figure.

well i tried like all the dating sites,pourtesfesses,joueraevclefantasme,plentyofphish ..you name it..its all the same gilrs on these sites want only one thing,,to get there ego stroke and thats it! i mean like facebook di u ever see the one in bikinis and big silicone,,they have like 300000 guys on there sites and keep adding more.i met this brazilian nice girl first date ws ok she said she didnt want a boyfriend only friends ! it figures she as like 300!! seriously all these sites ar all the same people dont waste you time and money on it!

Jiuju, approaching women on a dating website is basically the same as if you approached them in person at a bar or some other public place. Again, the women have all the power, they can refuse you or let themselves be seduced by you. I don't know if you've been to pick-up bars, but isn't it basically the same? the most desirable women will almost instantaneously have multiple guys trying to pick them up, but it could be the cutest guy who is successful, or sometimes it is the craftiest and most charming guy that will rock her world that night...

Did it ever occur to you that a lot of these 'girls' on dating sites may just be guys having fun to see how many people they can string along? Geez, just get off your butt and go out to a bar or join a club or check out meetmarket or something. Try speed dating. This thread is a bit futile, in my opinion. Some people will never resort to this method, because they manage quite well in social circumstances. Some people try it and have a mixed degree of success. I have a younger cousin who tried it, met a man successfully and even wrote and published a book about that experience.

I tried it a few years ago to see if I could actually meet some better matches than I had up to that point. I e-chatted with about 5 women and met one in person. We had all of one date and I lost interest in online dating since then.

Once in a while I'll scan one of these sites out of curiosity (to see if I'll recognize anyone, or if any of the women will churn my hormones, etc.), but I usually depart the site within 30 to 45 minutes out of boredom.

Recently I surfed across this site doyoulookgood.com when I heard they actually had women of my preferred age group (as in my own). Sure enough they had some pretty actractive women in their late 30's and early 40's, but I quickly realized I'm nowhere near narcissistic enough to keep their interests for long...

As for sites for serious dating. The best are the phone messages that are left in the newspapers. La Press and The Gazette have them. You do not pay to record a message. You pay to listen to other peoples messages and you pay to retrieve the calls left in your voice mail box. It can add up quickly. Yes there are old messages in there that if you call you will never get a call back. In fact for a certain time there were many, many of those.

It's rather easy actually,

1. If you are a 40-something trying to hook up with a drop-dead-georgeous 20 year old, lots of luck to yar (don't laugh, I know quite a few of those......)

2. If not, there are many good cheap sites out there, but you will need to know how to get around the french world. If you don't, make friend with a french person and learn something from him/her. And the women that you will meet, they make not have the look of a drop-dead-georgeous 20-something, may not even have the skill of some of the girls here, but they will screw your brains out and teach you the true meaning of gfe (pales your escort gfes). Eg. there was one that could make my body do things I had no idea that it could do.

The french ladies have very strong backbones - don't even try to buy/impress them with your money, those are deal-breakers, you will just get yourself laughed at. Treat them nice like a real human being and you will get very far.

The tactic you should use in these sites is purely psychological. ALWAYS agree with the girl. ALWAYS take her side. ALWAYS understand her. ALWAYS assume that she has a second and third handle. Remember you may be paying to be able to contact whom you want. She is usually not paying so she just replies.

If you don't have a decent photo why should you expect her to have one.

By the way. Take a look at the photos of the girls looking for girls. Drop dead gorgeous usually.
I would say most couples looking for a girls are in reality a single guy looking for girl.
