The best souvlaki in Montreal is at Village Greek on Jean Talon corner of Bloomfield. Try it and come back to tell me that it is not the best! Marvins on Ball street is a distant 3rd or 4th place

Souvlaki is pork or chicken on a stick roasted over a fire. (sort of like shishkabab) Sometime it is put into a pita bread and veggies are added with a yogurt sauce.

Talk about a small world! I have tried Kojax on St-Catherine St! Tasty, yummy!!!! But! There is a big, huge, enormous "BUT" here! Do not ever, ever, ever try the tzatziki sauce.

That thing is made with pure garlic. If you eat that sauce shortly thereafter you will notice people standing at least 10 feet away from you when you talk to them!!!!! I made the mistake once, never again!

I love the kick you get from tzatziki sauce, but I better have a truckload of Clorets gum with me, otherwise I would be very very lonely!!!

But do not have the souvlaki prior to meeting a lady, right Eager? :)

Spartacus...

Would "nastos" (by the way, an address or general location around Montreal would help... I am a big souvlaki eater!) reimburse escort fees if the session's lack of "DFK" due to bad breath turns the otherwise perfectly GFE atmosphere into a ymmv situation.

(forgive me its the first time I use all these acronyms, I hope I got them all right by now)

And if you drink hot water afterwards, you can stay awake for a late escort session. But don't be surprised if she calls you "coffee-breath" ;-)

Hey Vlad
I am not sure about the refund.
Nastos is on L'acadie just opposite marche central (almost accross the street from macdonalds)
in theory the coffee bean works but in practice ??? not so effective.

Vladimir

go to any coffee place & ask them for 2 unground coffee beans

We use to do that in the 70's dude, peace love and flowers???
oh! and a couple of coffee beans to go, please!

Spartacus... L'acadie and "marche central" has been punched in the navigation system. Cool!

To the posters who don't know, never have souvlaki, raw onions or garlic before meeting a lady on the assumption that listerine will rid you of these odors. It won't!

I was told that smoking a good reefer also can be quite effective in killing the strong odors.

souvalki george has some good gyros

Location of "souvlaki george", please?

I think next time I am in Montreal I'll just skip the escorts and drive around town to all the souvlaki places!

You guys are so lucky up there, souvlaki, women, ah! yes! and of course cops that doesn’t give a rats ass about all the girls being driven around town in minivans he he he.

Oliver, I've heard Arahovas introduced souvlakies to Montreal. I don't know if that's true though.

Another advantage is you can get white and black seed bagels across St. Viator street. If they're good enough for Prince Charles ... never mind.

For myself the best souvlaki is le Parthenon on Van Horne and Cote des Neiges. On the North Est side,

Love their souvlaki stick and their tzaziki sauce. service is slow but it's worth it.

So you lika tha sauce? Yes thank you.

Tha sauce iza good ? Yeah thanks!!!!

Avoid any greek bullshit tourist trap restaurant on Prince Arthur street!!!!!!!!!

by the way montreal greek what kind of greek are you. Your choices suck big time.

first of all im 100 % pure greek, and i know what a souvlaki is suppose to taste like, marvens use to be the best 10 years ago and as for panama, you dont go eat souvlakis there, that place is great for lamb and all the other traditional greek meals...

there is also another restaurant that my friends really like , that is ellatos on jarry near bloomfield, i think that place sucks , but hey like i said im greek and they are not..
on prince arther the only good restaurant is minerva, but like i said never go to those on prince arther for souvlakis...

my friend owns kojak the franchise he thinks he makes great souvlas but man they suck, and so does the sauce..
go to marathons on labelle and notredame and then tell me wich souvlakis you like the best....
