In an attempt to lose weight, I have been reducing the amount of food I eat and I have been working out. But I was wondering if there is a weight loss product that will help me in my efforts. What weight loss product have you used that is really helpful? Dr. Oz was blasted by a Senate Committee hearing; the Committee denounced his recommended products as useless. So, what products work?

There are uppers but I wouldn't recomend them. I remember a while ago they were all about the ECA stack and I tried it. left me wired as hell and never tried it again.

Just have patience and keep doing what you are doing. If you can't eat less and work out more the weight loss products won't make a enough of a difference anyways. If you can you will get there.

Hi alll
Eat some garlic every morning !From far we look smaller !!!!!LoL:D
Seriously avoiding complex carbo hydrates might help you reduce your weight and minimize the simple carbs unless you train regularly !!!!On training day carbs are necessary because they provide you with quick energy!
Best of success in achieving your goals

I would stick to well-known stimulants such as caffeine and green tea. There are side effects, but they are well documented so you'll know how much is too much.
As BookerL said, what matters is not to reduce the total food intake, but the carbs specifically.
Fill up on greens and nuts instead.

There is no quick fix and products really don't work but here's some advice: Have vigorous and energetic sex for at least one hour per day. You won't be thinking about food, that's for sure! Unless it's a George Costanza pastrami situation :)

Fast weight-loss is also fast weight-gain. An average of 2 pounds by week is considered a good program for losing weight. If you loose weight too fast, that may mean that you loose more water or muscle that fat.

Hello all,

Have vigorous and energetic sex for at least one hour per day.
Love, Dr. Cara

There's a quadruple cheeseburger with gobs of bacon drowning in Russian dressing with a side quart of poutine with extra cheese and gravy trying to get me. Please PM me where I can receive your help...twice a day if necessary. I'm willing to work very hard. :)

Just have patience and keep doing what you are doing. If you can't eat less and work out more the weight loss products won't make a enough of a difference anyways. If you can you will get there.

Patience and education about the right way to eat are the keys. Uppers and caffeine...OMG! Cutting portions is good, but far from enough. The problem is your body is not using what you are putting in efficiently in balance with your activities. Cutting portions of junk and still eating junk won't change much. Go to a dietician and learn what to eat to stay healthy without the damaging carbs, fats, etc.

It takes willpower and work over time. There are no quickie tricks. Starving yourself is futile and it teaches nothing about getting away from bad habits.

Good luck,

Merlot

Look behind you.
The cheapest weight loss item is water and lots of it. Drink 2 glasses before breakfast ( do not skip breakfast ) and about 8 glasses a day. Stay away from sugars ( alcohol ) at night ( my downfall ). Eat smaller portions during the day instead of 3 full meals. I follow none of these hence the still overweight. Grapefruit juice also helps. I may knuckle down this summer/winter but my will power really sucks. Kush with jack & coke make for BBQ cheeseburgers at 3am.

1lb=3500 calories what you need to do (and be honest) is to calculate how many calories you are consuming on a daily basis. Read labels this will give you a good guideline. So if you have your daily total and you want to lose a pound you need to cut your consumption by 3500 calories, simple right ! No so simple lol the trick is you probably need to change what you are eating more fruits and veggies will certainly help. They fill you up and the calories and fat are low. You will also need to increase the number of times you eat daily from tow or three to 6 I know this sounds crazy but you need to trick your body a little by letting it think you are constantly full. Drink lots of water. If it is white (Bread, sugar, pasteries etc ) do NOT eat these. Drink lots of water. Exercise, here is a key, you can reduce your diet by the 3500 calories but exercise will help you to burn more calories as well. Kind of a double edge sword. Yes, sex is an exercise if it is done well lol ;) the goal should be 1-2lbs a week max. why, because if you do it slowly you change your habits and will tend to continue to do these things over a long period. Lose 25 pounds in a month adn three months later you will have put on 30. There are pills, drinks, energy bars all kinds of low calorie foods but the best advice is to eat normally but with a mind to being sensible, don't eat like a pig and exercise. Start walking more, park you car as far from the door of a shopping center as you can and walk, it's only a little bit but it helps. Slow and steady will always win any race.Good luck, its a battle most of us fight continuously

The best and safest way to loose weight is a combination of things mentioned above.

Drink plenty of water (water, not liquids) 5-8 glasses a day, have a healthy breakfast (very important), eat plenty of veggies.

You shouldn't really cut anything out of your diet (except fast foods) but everything in moderation, too much of anything isn't good. If you feel like having a steak then go ahead, just not a 30oz piece, 4-6 oz with a side of veggies is fine. You want a hot dog, fine, have 1, not 3, you get the idea.

Lastly, you NEED to exercise, there is no way around it. Nothing insane, if you can manage 45 min a day that would be great.

Your goal ( as mentioned above ) should not exceed 2 pounds a day.

I have been doing this for over 2 years now, I've lost 45 pounds and kept it off. The most difficult part was when i did reach my goal, adjusting my food intake so I can stop loosing and start maintaining my weight was tricky. The only thing I haven't adjusted is the exercise.

Years ago i was using Thermolift and i felt it was doing wonders for me. They then banned it in Canada because of its effedrine content. Two years ago i had a buddy bring some from the States.

Over the past 45 days or so i've been working out regularly. At least 20-35 minutes of cardio per day, plus lifting weights every 2nd day. Eat vegetables & avoid junk food, fries, pasta, burger & hotdogs. Decrease alcohol intake & drink a moderate amount of water.

I've already lost 10 lbs & hope to lose 30 lbs total by September.

I must admit that my recent trip to Mtl made it very difficult on maintaining proper eating habits. But it'll only make me work out even harder.

During the month of May, Dr. David Suzuki issued a challenge to get outside and do something (not sit on your ass with a beer) for those 30 minutes for 30 days. I decided to take up the challenge at a time of the year where there is all kinds of yard work to be done. I have been outside doing something everyday since the beginning of May for a minimum of 30 minutes. I walk my dog, play with him, pick up out in my yard, walk for no reason, get in my pool and swim for 30 minutes.....lol the dog ends up joining me lol ( I think the weight loss is the skin he has clawed off me with his claws) I am sleeping better at night, I go to bed earlier, I eat a healthy breakfast, I do NOT eat at McDonalds.........ever, take a long hard look at what you are eating there, disgusting. I am losing weight and am much fitter (better sex is a benefit ). Like Nike says, just do it !

Different topic but Suzuki is such a hypocrite, talks about corporate greed ( profit ) and charges $30K an event, talks about countries with too many children per household and has 5 children, in BC he co owns million dollar properties with oil companies and complains about them, when on tour one on his demands are a certain number of females dressed a certain way to be present. He has more lobbyists than most corporations.
Most people out west lose weight throwing up when they hear his name.

I agree that proper dieting & exercise is the key, but ephedrine is a proven product to help in weight loss, as long as you use it wisely.

Another product that i found helped me get motivated to workout is a product called "Jack 3D". You use it prior to a workout & i've found that it's given me quite an energy boost.

I've used Herbal Life once (in order to lose weight) and it was effective, but i felt at the time that i was literally starving myself & as soon as i stopped using the plan, i regained everything that i had lost. I doubt i will waste my money on such a product again unless money (e.g. weight loss competition) is on the line.

Good breakfast every day light lunch and a substantial evening meal do not eat after 7:30 at night. Plenty of fluids I drink a full glass of water before each meal. Helps reduce food intake and also helps digest protiens. Walk at least 2 km per day I had dropped 25 lbs in 3 months.

The easiest, yet the most difficult way to lose weight is to change your lifestyle habits from bad ones to good ones. Easier said than done. It's very easy to say that all you have to do is exercise, eat well & drink water. But in order to keep the weight down & not have to start all over, someone needs to keep maintaining those good habits.

Too many people go back to their former 'bad' habits as soon as they've gone down to the weight desired. I've been guilty of this myself many times. Same thing about all those diets & other plans (nutrasystem, herbal life/magic, etc) that people invest on that actually work, but more often than not for the short term only. As soon as you stop a diet or other eating 'plan', you usually start putting on the lbs immediately & all that good work is for naught.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle & good habits permanently is the key. But going from one lifestyle to another is extremely difficult and most people will fail. But if they persist, they will eventually succeed in their goal depending on how much they are fed up of being fat & unhealthy.....and realize how good & positive they feel when they are leaner & fit.
