Hello all,

My vote above is a mistake, As I hit the button I was thinking of Peyton's weakness against very good DBs and for some reason hit Broncos as I thought about their faults. My vote goes to the Seahawks. I see the game as being a very close, one turning on whether the Seattle pass rush helps the DBs enough to give them the edge to be most effective.

Soccer players have THE best bodies.

I played in high school. Yes, the constant movement and the speed and distance at which the ball can move back and forth across the long field forces the players to have great agility and stamina. Contact me if you want proof. ;)

Still slim, :D

The weather forecast a couple of weeks ago was for cold and snow in New Jersey. On the common theory that good weather favors the passing team and bad weather the defensive team, I was congratulating myself on waiting for the last moment to punt after getting the more up to date weather prediction of ideal weather (mild with no wind).

I lost all hope when I noticed, in this thread, that I am on the side of the legendary loser of this board. I wish I had dug a deep hole in the ground to bury my money. At least, I would have gotten some exercise.

Hello Anon,

Funniest thing I've read in a long time. :D Bad weather or Joe.t. What a set of burdens for Peyton.

Just think about that hug and kiss if the Broncos win, or that sympathy comforting together if not. Hmmmm, you're right. It's a lose-lose. :noidea:

I still wonder if the Seahawks DBs won't be good enough. The pass rush will be even more critical. Also, What kind of character will Russell Wilson show? He had 52 TDs and 19 INTs during the season. How will the $1/2 million Wilson do in the Big Game against Mr. All-World. Look to see how he's doing early.

I'm staying with my pick...SEAHAWKS!

Cheers,

I've been for a longtime Seahawk's fan especially when the Montréal born Tommy Kane was playing for them (late 18980's early 1990's). He was convicted later in his career of the murder of his girlfriend. That's very sad.

I have the bad luck of following teams that aare loosers (like the Detroit Lions). But this year my favorite team is Denver. Don't ask me why...I don't know. I'm maybe nostalgic but I remember when Larry Canada was playing for them in the late 1970's.

Nice move by the most unworthy Hall of Famer ever in any sport, Namath, by tossing the coin without waiting for anyone to call it. Maybe his pantyhose were just too tight.

WTF with that first snap. Gotta be the quickest score in Super Bowl history. Is it an omen? :noidea:

15-0. This isn't the badly injured defense of the Patriots folks. The Seahawks defense is doing just what is needed, breaking into the Broncos backfield and keeping Manning off balance.

22-0..and the Broncos voters are SHAKING!!! Is it the Curse of Joe.t or the Seahawks DEEEFENNSE.

I am a Pat fan...

DAMN...you are amazing. :)

KAAA-BAAAAAANNNG!!! 29-0 Seahawks! PERCY HARVIN . :thumb:

Hey there Broncos voters,

The Broncos have as much chance as the Yankees did at last years All Star Break...ZERO!!

 :thumb:

It's 36 to freaking 0. An $18 million per year quarterback beaten badly by a one that makes about 36 times less. IRONIC! I thought this game would be a bitter fight to the end, but it's turned into one of the biggest ASS-WHIPPINGS in the history of sports. Considering the vaunted record-setting Broncos offense hasn't scored a point yet it's the biggest one team disaster in the history of Super Bowls.

I lost all hope when I noticed, in this thread, that I am on the side of the legendary loser of this board. I wish I had dug a deep hole in the ground to bury my money. At least, I would have gotten some exercise.

WOW...this quote has earned repeating. We all take the Curse of Joe.t as a joke...mostly, but it's getting scary. In the future we should all wait to see which side he takes then line up on the other, or just pay him to go away and stay out of it.

BTW: Didn't a few of use...like Merlot...call DEFENSE! :thumb:

Congratulations to the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks on a brilliant victory.

I have nothing against Peyton, but I love seeing another team earn a championship., especially after being so robbed the game before. And, if I'm not mistaken, the Broncos become the first team to score only a single digit since Super Bowl 3...no time to check. Then there's the one player who went from the 0-16 Lions to Super Bowl Champions.

Cheers,

Merlot

Perhaps the Chinese horoscope is correct in picking the Super Bowl Winner for 2014...this is the year of the Horse! Hence the BRONCOS!
What a better motivational psych motto for coach John Fox to give to his Broncos players!

sharkman, you are brilliant to pick up on the Chinese horoscope to predict the result. But if you ask a Chinese (real one who was raised in China), he will tell you that in our culture, the year of xxx usually means an unlucky year for xxx.
