My doctor has a ton of free samples. Every single time I see him he opens his drawer and asks me if I want a pack. Seriously, it's like a running joke between us.

The makers of Viagra and Cialis do give out tons of samples, they want you to try them. Ask your doctor if he has a free sample.

That seems like a ridiculous law. Viagra or Cialis don't matter much. But someone who is poor and needs expensive meds? A free sample pack of antibiotics can change their life.

In Quebec many years ago doctors were allowed to give out sample, but a new law came in that they were no longer able to accept samples or gifts from the drug companies. Along with the box of samples they would often get an expensive gift. I knew one doctor that had 5 VCRs in the early 80s, all gifts from drug companies.
