Nothing. The club was put on sale some years ago. Seems the price went up big time.

The SC biz is in decline, I doubt you can make any money even at half the $1.75 million valuation.

Nothing good there anyway! Juste bon pour blanchir de l'argent! avec les crimes violents qui se sont produit là dans les dernières années,ce sera très dur de vendre se commerce à un ''VRAI'' homme d'affaire!

While it is true that the internet has made strip clubs less popular than they once were i also put the blame on strip club owners themselves by jacking up the prices over the years. Drinks are overpriced, dances are overpriced, the various fees (entry fee, coat-check fee, doorman tip, etc) are a big turn-off and people who have sampled the off-shore clubs of the past where extras were the norm got turned off by all the greed involved with the more popular mainstream strip clubs of the past such as Chez Pare, Wanda's, Club Super Sex, Club Downtown, Les Amazones, etc.

About a dozen years ago i was with a buddy of mine at Wanda's (which at one time was a favorite of mine) and a hottie came by to talk to me at the videopoker machine. She asked me if i felt like going to sit at a table where we could chat. I bought her a drink. And another. She danced for me a couple of times. About an hour later my buddy told me we should head out. So i asked the girl how much i owed her and she said about $120. Holy fuck!!!!!! I was shocked!!!! I had to borrow money from my buddy who was chuckling and shaking his head. As we headed out i was pretty pissed off and he asked me what my problem was. I replied "she fucked me!!" He told me she did not and actually gave me a deal. He then asked me if i knew that the meter was running while she was sitting down and chatting with me. I told him i did not and it was the first time i had ever heard of that. "Well i suppose you haven't been to a strip club in a while", he replied. I had not and have pretty much crossed out strip clubs from my list over the past dozen years or so. It's now nothing but a big cash grab. It probably always was in a way, but it wasn't as blatantly obvious has it is today and has been over the past decade.

Doc Holliday,

That is downtown for you but you know they prey on American tourists. In the US things are so conservative and pricey that many pay those over inflated prices for getting nothing. About stripclubs the main and biggest reason to their downfall is due to MPs and the city. Stripclubs are under heavy scrutiny and constant police surveillance and pressure from the city. If they itch as much they get fines, license suspension, or are shut down. The city is no longer issuing anymore nudity permits and rezoning is being declined for clubs that want to rebuild. It is very difficult to open and run a stripclub. MPs on the other hand got a free pass. It is very easy to open one not much restrictions in fact many open as thereupatic places. They got not much pressure from the city and they can do whatever they want due to almost no scrutiny from the city. No alcohol is being sold. No tax collection papers. Not impacted by the smoking ban. No raids for Grand Prix week. No checks for minors like they do for stripclubs. Unless citizens complain the city leaves MPs alone. They are discreet and on the low. Since the past 25 years the ratio of MPs to stripclubs has more then tripled. Quiet frankly the plain field is not even. Stripclubs are loosing because of that. It is like the Taxi compared to Uber. The playing field got to be even but it is not... One got a big advantage over the other.

SC used to be the only place you would see titties.

Now you go to pretty much any regular clubs and you will see 'real' girls giving free 'show' showing so much skins that it becomes much more arousing then SC... Just walking down the street on any warm night in Montreal gives me more hard on then any visit to SC.

And like you said Clould when you need the real stuff MP or Escort are much more better bang for your buck!

Cheers,

To own a SC is to get into bed with bikers. You have to do as they say. If they want to park a doorman up front you have no say. Your supply of dancers is supplied by their agencies.
