What is a client going to do with a video of an encounter where the SP does what she is hired to do?
I would be more worried about an SP recording the encounter with a client and then possibly blackmailing him or her.

And besides, some agencies/SPs actually offer that the session can be recorded for an additional fee - I have also seen many SPs in Montreal who wanted to have their picture taken or be video taped.
Not usually on the first encounter but later on subsequent ones.

And what they tell you in those ads about being able to scan and detect a hidden camera in less than 10 seconds is BS.
So are the outrageous prices they charge - you can make one of these "detectors" using a cardboard tube and a strong flashlight but scanning a room takes a while.
You also preferably want the room to be dark to get a good reflection from the lens.

This is yet another gadget where people prey on the uniformed to make big bucks.

There are some men, not saying that they are in the merb community- but I've read stories about it, who take pleasure in outing SPs. They'll video tape or take photos during the encounter and then put them on those gf disgrace type porn sites. They could also potentially use it to blackmail the girl into things she doesn't want to do etc. Like someone already said, there are a lot of sick people in the world. While all these precautions can be boner killers, let's be frank here- SPs have far more chances of being assaulted, or even worse killed, than the man she's going to see. If these measures are what it takes for us to feel good and comfortable and give you the best possible service, isn't that worth it? Plus, smart girls know how to be discreet checking these things, and even if caught, I'm sure she can figure out a way to regain your interest..

What does an SP have to gain by recording an encounter? Unless he's some high ranking official, MAYBE then you could argue there could be some sort of incentive, but even then, why run the chance of doing something that could affect her business? People come to us for discretion- recording the encounter on our part would be a direct strike against that. We have very little to gain and everything to lose in this instance. From what I gather, girls who are comfortable being photographed/videotaped probably also show their faces in their ads and have different views on that. But not everyone is comfortable, and not all of us wish to have no knowledge of where that media could be going.
