Have you ever given ONE SINGLE ticket out to someone, have you ever received ONE SINGLE ticket? The answer is NO.

Montrealrez,

I understand your logic. I was going with 2 friends, and 1 of them bailed so we're left with 1 single ticket. Just figured I'd give it a shot and see what happens.

By the way, I have bought and sold single tickets to some concerts I've gone too, so that answer is YES

Simple,

Nope, no luck yet. You want it? :)

Train,

Both teams playing have a decent winning record, and it's always a nice ambience to see the Bruins play the Canadiens in Montreal. Unfortunately my hometown team didn't do so well when my friends and I came here last December 16 2002. One more thing, I saw a game in Boston on New Years Day this year, fantastic game resulting in the Bruins beating Toronto 3-2 ;)

Eager,

As for Thornton/Lindros, that's what happens when your superstar gets involved in the rough stuff. Thornton's a very tough young star, something in the mold of Cam Neely, but not as mean or tough. Thornton had that fight until Lindros unleashed 1 right hand that took Joe out. But he's back facemask and all.

Later all,

SK

Funeral more exciting than the game itself....

After 2 periods of play, Boston 1, Montreal 0.

Please wake me up after the game!

EB,

I understand your point, it's financially sound, but I don’t think they care since most games sell out anyway...

Don't waste money to see the Habs

EagerBeaver: The Montreal Canadiens are an average team at best. They will once again struggle to make the playoffs. You should save your money to see a great team such as either Ottawa or Toronto. Any money you'd waste on the Canadiens' would not be adviseable.

The Habs are one of the worse NHL franchises in Canada, period. The fact Boston got outshot and outplayed by them says a lot about the Bruins' team. Yes, they won....but by only scoring one goal and having a hot goalie.

Tonight, it's the clash of the two titans: Ottawa vs Toronto. One of these two teams might actually win the Stanley Cup.

My thoughts on the game

Unfortunately for the Habs, they ran into a white hot goaltender in Andrew Raycroft (not to be confused with Ravencroft from Merb) :p

The Bruins had NO business whatsoever winning that game! Shots on goal after period 1 were 8-5 Boston and they even had a 2 man advantage for 1:45 sec. but were unable to put anything on the board. Shots on after the 2nd period for 19-14 Montreal. Luckily for us Glen Murray was able to sneak one by Theodore early in the period and they were able to make it hold up due only to Raycroft's amazing play. Now the last period the Bruins were outshot I believe 15-2 and didn't have their first shot on net in the 3rd period until the 16:00 min mark. It was an awful display of offense. Most importantly what I noticed sitting in the stands was the lack of effort by the Bruins to finish their checks against the Habs. They had numerous opportunities to land some very hard hits, but instead would peel away at the last second or give just a slight bump. This type of play isn't going to give the B's much success. Hopefully they'll be able to light it up a bit more this afternoon against the lowly Penguins before the Superbowl this evening.

Go Pats Go! Go Pats Go!! ;)

HAHAHAHHAHAHA!
Toronto? Stanley Cup? Hahaahah, sorry but that was the funniest thing I heard all day. Ottawa will win the Stanley cup this year, you heard it here first. I picked NJ or Ottawa to win it this year, and Toronto has to get past NJ in the playoffs first, before they even have the slightest chance to win their conference. Oh, and Montreal,if they make the playoffs, will upset someone. Sorry for the Toronto fans on the board, but I have to get in one parting shot.....
