Just wondering if anybody had it and what to expect, specifically with how much time I will miss from work. I am having both eyes done, and the surgeon told me probably will only miss the day of surgery on the right eye but the day of plus 2 on the left eye, which is much more potent due to the astigmatism in the right eye which he said is "lazy."

How much improvement did you get from it?

Right eye went from 20/275 with astigmatism to 20/15 with none.
Left eye went from 20/325 with astigmatism to 20/15 with none.

Bandage on eye for one day, followup for infection 24 hours later.

VERY IMPORTANT! Keep the eye very moist with hourly lubricant / antibiotic eye drops while awake for about a week - 10 days.

About 2 years after, needed micro laser perforations in the cornea of both eyes; they molded to 60+ years of astigmatism and recover only partially; you will see "waves" across your vision every time you blink; 50-75 zaps with a low level laser in each eye takes care of this. DO NOT MOVE YOUR eye or BLINK while this is in progress!

I think you will be amazed at the difference! Bon chance!

Thanks for the feedback! I was told I have to start taking eye drops 3 days before the surgery.
Those are probably anti-inflammatory drops; important to let your surgeon know if you are taking any pain meds, anti-inflammatories, heart meds, or steroids; the eyes are very reactive to any / all of those.
