Rest easy Charlie Kirk… so young already was an undeniable force in politics and a trendsetter. He’s the single biggest reason why young people vote for Trump last year and won the election. Prayers to his family and friends.

Anyone who dares showing disrespect at this point are worthless buffoons.

I don’t see how anyone either left or right can celebrate the murder of someone else, what happened to just being human.

I despise politicians and politics in general.
I hated Biden because he was nothing more than a a puppet who barely could remember his name.
I hate Trump because he is an egotistical asshole and a horrible human being and has gone completely insane with his tariffs trying to hold the whole world hostage.

Unfortunately the US has a love relationship with firearms regardless of which party they vote for, and there are more in the hands of citizens than all the rest of the world put together.
I hate guns and don’t see a need for them in a normal country ( the US is anything but normal when it comes to guns) especially automatic fire arms that are capable of killing hundreds in a matter of minutes, That type of weapon is not for self défense or for hunting it is for slaughtering people nothing else.

Unfortunately as much as I hate guns if I lived permanently in the US I would probably own a handgun for self défense there is just so much potential for violence and crime happening there that you are left with no other choice.

Here I am an almost elderly Canadian that bought his first 22 caliber rifle to hunt woodchucks on my uncle farm where I worked in the summer.
In the fall I hunted hare and grouse.
I respected the laws and continued tuning small and big game.
I practiced Clay Shooting and target shooting with rifled and handguns.
In Canada, the firearm rules are very stricts. Magazines capacity is very restricted.
Th weapons used by criminals and gang members are coming illegally from USA. Many by First Nations living on Canada-USA frontier.
Mass shooting in schools is unknown.

They havent found shooter . Many saying this was organized . And planned . 200 yards away on the roof .

Im not falling down this rabbit hole yet, but the rights are gearing up for war blaming the left on social media yet nobody has been arrested.

A lot of conspiracy theorist are pushing this on a Israeli hit

This was def a professional hit, not carried out by one person, there are way too many variables at play for one person to act alone

On video moments before, theres chatter how people in his security detail were doing hand signals, signaling what exactly we dont know.

They are all law abiding people who would never hurt another human being.

We often talked about this and I could never understand shooting animals either. My limit is fishing.
Unfortunately Americans are in love with their firearms and will never relinquish them and for any politician to suggest gun prohibition would be political suicide.

It has really gotten to the point where it is almost necessary to own a handgun if you want to feel even slightly safe with all the crime and violence in the US and with the amount of firearms people own.

Why anyone would celebrate another human beings murder is incomprehensible and just shows the depth of the political hatred and how divided people are today in the US.

Meh. The right has been calling the left "communist" for the last 8 years. Like I said before, everybody's guilty! lol. :)

GM [frog emoji] [coffee emoji]

I hear what you’re saying… People can say XYZ back and forth / all day long.

However, let’s compare / contrast and be real here as to why the left does indeed operate like a cult.

So far the left has imposed;

- Forced language rituals: pronouns, new terms every year, constant word policing, plus liberal buzzwords like “micro-aggression,” “privilege,” “cultural appropriation,” “patriarchy,” “toxic masculinity.”
- Virtue signalling: BLM posts, pronoun bios, flag emojis.
- Plastering symbols everywhere: hashtags, masks, pronoun badges, flags, crosswalks, murals, etc.
- Radical ideologies: climate hysteria, gender ideology, systemic-this and systemic-that.
- Doomsday prophecies: “The world ends in 10 years unless you obey us.”
- Original sin doctrine: you’re guilty if you’re white, male, straight, or traditional.
- Moral superiority: “unenlightened” conservatives or anyone who questions the narrative are inherently wrong.
- Demonization of traditional values: labeled as “bigotry”.
- Speech codes / censorship on social media.
- Censorship of heresy: erasing books, banning posts, silencing alternative views.
- Group chants / rituals: protests, slogans, kneeling, clapping on command,
-Confession rituals: celebrities apologizing or grovelling for forgiveness.
- Public shaming ceremonies: cancel culture, mob pile-ons, social media witch hunts often followed by doxxing and online harassment (people have been attacked for being the “enemy” ex: Riley Gaines)
- Excommunication: de-platforming and permanent bans for dissenters.
- Blind loyalty tests: “Silence is violence” - you don’t speak up, you’re guilty. The masses must be 100% obedient, but it’s fine for them to attack and berate others.
- Recruitment of children: indoctrination in schools under “inclusivity,” radical gender ideology, and even puberty-blocking/top/bottom surgeries IN MINORS. A HUGE NO-NO.
- Demonization of outsiders: right-wing = evil, fascist, terrorist, Nazi, racist, transphobe, never ending “-ists” and “-phobes”.
- Cult leaders’ immunity: politicians and celebrities break their own rules (mask violations, private jets, mansions) with zero consequences.
- Rewriting history and biology: tearing down statues, rewriting school curriculums.
- Radical reform of societal norms under the guise of justice.
- Mask mandates and endless pandemic fear mongering.

Not to mention the endless meltdown theatrics in their cars- filming themselves screaming and crying till their veins in their necks pop out - salivating like rabid animals. (My 5 year old niece is less of a baby than most of these mentally ill adults).

Here’s a list of what the right has wanted:

- Patriotism, respecting the flag, anthem, heritage, tradition (LOL. You’re a bad Canadian, American or European if you’re patriotic???)
- Tougher stances on crime, border control, gun rights defence (wanting less crime and defending yourself is bad apparently)
- Personal responsibility: emphasis on work ethic, accountability, limited government (as if this is a bad thing?)

The “Karen” stereotype?
That’s not a conservative soccer mom - it’s almost always a progressive, unhinged liberal woman. There isn’t even a real equivalent of that character on the right. Every embarrassing viral meltdown? It’s the psychotic left, cheering for violence, celebrating when people get hurt, and praying for their political enemies downfall.

If we strip away media hysteria and compare fairly, the right doesn’t really impose on people the way the left does.

The right tends to say: “Live your life / leave me alone”.

While the left says (or moreso screams):
“LIVE HOW I TELL YOU - OR ELSE!!!!”.

Why is it so horrible for people like me to want tougher laws, for example? Look around - the amount of people attacked, robbed, assaulted, raped, or straight-up killed by criminals is abhorrent. It’s not some abstract debate here… it’s real people paying the price.

And yet… who votes for this soft-on-crime insanity? Liberal women. The same ones crying about how they “don’t feel safe walking home alone” are the ones who checked the box for politicians that decriminalize theft and let violent offenders walk free. TIME AFTER TIME.

At this point, can you really blame the right for refusing to tolerate the left’s bullshit and antics anymore? People are sick of watching criminals run free, watching chaos spread, and then being told they’re the problem for demanding law and order.

Also here’s an article stating how liberal people are 62% more likely to have mental illness:

"College Age Male Suspect Who Blended In Well"
"At a press conference on Thursday, the FBI and Utah public safety officials described the shooter as a "college age" male who "blended in well" with students at the event. Authorities said they were able to track the suspect's movements before and after the shooting using security camera footage.

A high-powered bolt-action rifle was recovered from a nearby wooded area, authorities said. They believe this is the weapon used in the "targeted" shooting that left Kirk dead."

One shot was fired at a distance of 200 yards from a building. It's amazing that the shooter even hit the target at that distance let alone hit him with a fatal shot. Makes me think that the shooter is military or has serious training as a sharpshooter. Those rifles are used by hunters and military sharpshooters.

It is ironic that he was such a proponent to ensure gun would always be allowed in the US of the 2nd amendment, perhaps even fitting based on the nonsense he said. Not surprising based on the polarisation of politics in the US. Sad for his family.
    • Second Amendment:
Protects the right to keep and bear arms, but this right is subject to regulation.

If you look for random unhinged posts on twitter or where ever, you're going to find plenty of results from both the Left and Right.
I feel the bigger issue is when people in positions of power are posting this type of stuff. They have an audience and influence.

The reaction from Right-wing politicians when Pelosi's husband was attacked or the Minnesota senator were killed was horrible. Bunch of jokes, memes, and further encouragement.
Now compare that to how Left politicians are reacting to Kirk. You're not going to see a bunch of tweets mocking Kirk or further encouraging violence. It's all condolences and calls to stop the violence.

Of course. However people need to have mental health checks to operate those.

Again with the knife argument. Anyone can use a knife but we aren’t confiscating those are we?

Sure, you can dig up unhinged posts from both sides but there’s a key difference in behaviour afterward. Usually, right-wingers don’t keep harassing or escalating to actual violence once someone is confronted, punished or killed lol.

Ex:
IMG_9649.jpeg

When random extremists on the right say something stupid online, it rarely turns into coordinated attacks or ongoing campaigns.

Compare that to some incidents on the left: the outrage culture often celebrates or perpetuates attacks, shames people publicly, and even targets people saying they’re next. The difference isn’t just words - it’s follow-through and patterns of escalation.

That’s the distinction normal people notice: reckless rhetoric doesn’t usually turn into sustained harassment or murder on the right, but on the left, the culture itself often fuels it.

Oh and also:

It’s not the guns

IMG_9643.jpeg

You’re only pointing to one incident in Minnesota, but that’s just cherry-picking. There’s a long history of offenses, harassment, and violence tied to the left, yet your argument treats it as if the right is equally responsible. One isolated example doesn’t erase the broader patterns we see.
