It would have been clear to those who first interviewed her for her job that English is not her first language. She doesn't appear to be stupid to me from her TV interview and certainly seems more focused than Palin who was accepted as a VP candidate for the entire US by almost half the population.

Junior bank employees are poorly paid and cannot be expected to be excellent orators and rocket scientists.

No, I never fault anyone for language difficulties. It's not so much their fault. And in Quebec, whew!

No, I don't think she's stupid. She did get in at Citi, and is now working for Chase.

Problem is, a normal person would have thanked their lucky stars that they got a similar position somewhere else. And then quietly rebuild.

Methinks it's not such a hot idea for her to making as much publicity as possible.
