I plan on visiting NewYork over our Thanksgiving weekend and want to take in a show.

I have looked online and found this site http://www.broadwaybox.com/ which offers discount seating, however I am always a little nervous about booking through these sites without having a recommendation.

Does anyone know about this or other sites to visit for discount coupons, rather than waiting in line for "day of" performances?

Also any hotel recommendations or sites to visit for hotels would be appreciated. Is Priceline.com as good as any.

I've used it several times and never had a problem. Another option, if you are open to it, would be something like Craigslist or tickets.com Good deals and terrible deals on both.

http://www.tkts.com/ has both same day and advanced options. Don't discount the same day, if you show up early theres no line.
