This community has proven to be very useful in such a business filled with scams and false representation. However, this website is so popular that a newly-created thread about a new girl will end up with several hundreds/thousands of views within a day or 2.Which means that a 160$ an hour hot babe that's very available, might suddenly become a 240$ an hour top escort that's impossible to book.So my question is this; do you have a secret girl you're ''keeping for yourself'' ?

I do keep some girl under the merb radar. But not because I want them for myself, that would be plainly stupid. I keep them under the radar because for some reason I know they will get destroyed here.

That said I started review thread of 4 indy in the last 2 years. 1 of them is now doing really well with 90% regulars only. 2 have joined very popular agency and 1 is thinking about it. So yes share share if you want to see them for a long time. If not like most indy gem she will be gone within a few months.

Cheers,

I really don’t think most girls leave the escort scene because of lack of work! There are a multitude of reasons for them to leave. And anyways most of us keep to ourselves our atf’s and regulars because of respect for her. If she wants more clients more publicity there are many ways for a SP to get herself known without my help. Some have asked me to do a short review on merb, which I have done, but this is pretty rare.

The way I see it, if I review a lady, it comes with both good and bad. If my review is only positive, in my experience someone will pop up with a bad review. Maybe a shill or for other reasons. So I do not want to be the instigator of a thread which may or may not be harmful to her, that’s what I mean by respect.
I agree the idea of ´hiding’ A lady for selfish reasons is idiotic.

Lily I do not really agree with what Helirage wrote as I do tend to share as much as possible the great lady I meet. But I completely understand his reason.

I know for a fact now that there is some ppl here who take absolute pleasure to be the "bad reviewer" of a girl. I know I have lived it. And some actually PM me saying their role on this site was purely to write bad reviews and thus warn others...

Bottom lines for me I will not write anything now if I suspect the girl is not ready for the "Merb Effect". As Helirage wrote if some others will point out part of her look or service badly.

On the other end I have been first reviewer on a few girl here and they did told me it has been very important for them and that they are still in the biz mostly because of that. Which I am happy for :)

Cheers,

p.s. depressing to see Yes leading this poll... Some dudes are so selfish... No wonder they are alone...

TBH guys if you decide to not review someone because you want them for yourself is the same as saying you don't want them to be able to pay their bills. We need clients to pay our bills, it's a job. If you don't give good reviews to a restaurant, for instance, and nobody do even if they find the place delicious, it will close. Same with girls. If they don't have reviews, no clients, no regulars, they will go away and it will be also your loss.

Yes I understand Rosie and of course your right. Pub = revenue, my bad. I just have the memory of my atf of whom I said a lot of very good things and she left anyways, probably a victim of her own success, but then I could be wrong.

Her reasons for leaving the industry are her own. Doesn't change the fact that there are women in the industry that cannot pay their rent because their three or four regulars don't want to share.

There's one I've held back from reviewing, an agency girl with outstanding service but still no reviews who only works about one day every three or four weeks.

She's not starving for clients. Indeed, the last time time she worked she was already booked-up by the time I had contacted the agency the night before.

i wouldn’t use the restaurant business as an analogy for the escort biz when it comes to reviews. There’s an emotional element that can get messy for some guys when they debate whether and how to review an sp they’ve come to like. Call it human nature but it’s an elephant in the room.

Yeah the ''fully booked'' thing doesn't mean the girl has all the clients she wanted, maybe she just decided to call sick and often agency just put fully booked instead of removing the girl from the schedule.

If u got nothing nice to say in a review, I think don't say it, being a SP is a tough gig, why make it tougher for someone. Too many variables that play into an interaction between two individuals. Now if ur comin out of the shower n the chic is goin through ur wallet n pocketing ur cash, that's another story.
As per reviews for stellar service: sharing is caring:hippie: thus no under the radar SP for me.

I had one but she retired for good. So basically, I met her when she was a débutante for a reputable agency that doesnt exist anymore. I regret to admit-it but I was obsessed with her, at some point even booked her 3 times a week for 3 hours. Anyways, she really liked me as a client and I ended up giving her my business card. A month later she quit the agency and told me she needed money so she was doing it on the low. Every now and then she would come to my place or I would go to hers. She never increased her price although they went up during the last few years. Not too long ago she texted me saying she was quitting for good because she was tired of feeling like a "ho". I inquired about a final session and even suggested to increase the donation but she refused.

That is why i'm always booking débutantes. Hope this happens again.

Most guys do not review ad's sites hidden Gems (With no reviews yet) because they want to keep them:
1. On the Lower prices.
2. Away from Agencies (As soon as a gem get glory reviews, she gets visited by agencies recruiters).
3. from becoming too popular and thus, more difficult to book.

Only few guys actually do reviews among all merbists. Many for do not like to post in public about their encounters and for many it's for a discretion reasons...

On my side, the answer for this poll is NO.
I always reviewed 99% of the SP I met.
The primary reason comes from how I found merb. Was looking for help on how to avoid being scammed by SP ad's...
I found merb, took me some time but eventually, I saw reviews of a girl I was already tempted by her ads on A123. I met her... She was Mika...
I was blown away her beauty and by the GFE she was offering.
By then, I understood how this board was helping and was sort of necessary and I felt I had to give back to this community.

So I share Positive and Negative experiences to help other johns like me to make their choices with more confidence.
In bonus, doing positives reviews gives visibility to these GEMs.
Of course there is a risk they get recruited, get more difficult to book or eventually increase their prices. But for me, THEY DESERVE THE BEST.

I find more difficult however with that kind of boards to do bad reviews of advertisers here. (Agency girls, Indies).
Because you might get banned from the agency. Also, many girls are very senstitive to their reviews.

In general, some details in reviews can be a delicate matter.
Especially, when there are minor issues... Issues you know that may affect the girl feeling but may be important for some guys...
Like the look. (For me, if I rate a girl's face as 7 or say she's GND, she's still beautifull for me and I may want to repeat, but for some girls, they don't like to read it...)
Many guys will purposely omit details especially when they got good services in their book.

Anyway, I don't see much merb advertisers...
And luckily, Merb advertisers are most likely great so no need to write bad reviews :)

In the case of the "one agency girl" that I have held back from reviewing, a part of her very considerable attraction is that she has not yet exhibited any professional guile, familiarity with the accoutrements of the profession or interest in the larger world of hobbyists and their SPs. I hope she will have departed the scene before that happens ....

Like many agency girls she is not dependent on reviews, has not asked for one or enquired about MERB and might even find it vulgar to read about herself in such a manner. It may come as a surprise but some just don't want to know. She works just a few hours a month and has demonstrated zero interest in making it a career; and the day that she does any of these things, is the day that I'll review her ... rhetorically speaking.

I remember her from 2011, saw her 3-4 times. What a super cute gem she was...at the beginning anyways. Things deteriorated quickly for her unfortunately.
I wouldn't have seen her if not for that thread on merb either.

If a girl doesn’t have solid regulars to rely on, then yes, no reviews can hurt her business, and so can only having older reviews and no recent ones. But beyond affecting her business in a positive way, reviews are also a sign of appreciation and selflessness, it’s a really sweet gesture to give back to the lady you just met and appreciated. Why would a girl become impossible to meet just because she has pouring reviews? Reviews just keep the phone ringing, that’s it. The girl is not obligated to meet every single guy that contacts her, she can still choose to see only 2-3 guys a day or week, versus 10+...For that reason, I never understood why some girls increased their rates to "overcome" or "control" high demand. Rate increase should be because we recognize our worth, not to prevent guys from calling... It’s not hard to decline a booking, or to instil a 2 guy a day/week rule, or whatever number. The worst that will happen is a bunch of guys complaining about how the girl took a week to reply, or maybe never replied at all, or was never available to see them, but is that really a bad review or just grown men complaining on a review thread?!!!But to associate reviews with availability is just stupid, especially considering the fact that clients come from different ad sites, and not just Merb or other review boards. Not reviewing a girl can still have her booked up with guys that are not on those review boards...If a guy is so worried that his special girl becomes unavailable, then he should try harder at becoming her ATF client, because some girls like myself like to prioritize repeat clients, or clients they have special chemistry with. Ads keep running for exposure and publicity, but sometimes we’re not available for new clients. Plus, it’s always better for us to book a secured date with a regular, then to risk a date with someone that might not show up...You should never rely on "Fully booked"... Sometimes it’s true, but sometimes it’s just a polite and easy way to not see someone, or another way to take off work without seeming unreliable in keeping our advertised schedule... And sometimes girls bend their "Truly booked" with regulars, which is another reason to try to become one of a girl’s ATF clients!

I am sorry but as a ladies who does try to overcome being too busy, I have to say you don't really know what it is like from my side so you can't really judge. I am not taking 2-3 clients a day and I pride myself on my professionalism so I try to ensure that I return all inquiries. It is not about controlling the number of appointments, it is controlling the amount of "paperwork" for lack of a better term. When I book 2-3 weeks in advance, and I get a huge influx of bookings and I have regulars that I have monthly arrangements with, volume does become an issue.

And when I have a calendar up, I use "Booked" to say I am booked. I only book one client in an available day. This lets my clients know that day has been taken. Please don't put false ideas and claims out there. Some of us actually do work how we say we work. To dismiss our way of work as BS in favour of your way of working, is just wrong and unneeded.
