Only if there is no internet...can't help myself...That's why to me the best vacations place is Cuba...no internet, no tv,no nothing...
My phone is my best friend, first one I touch in the morning and last at night...lol

Most people do not unplug when they go on vacation, the provincial parks are even offering wifi now because people are not staying more than 2 days because they can not plug in.

My holiday is a holiday and I never bring my smartphone. My kids have the resort ph# in case of an emergency.

I do not bring my Lilyphone but if the vacation is in a civilised (!) place I do bring my real life phone,I just warn everybody to text or call only if someone important (to me) dies...some relative do not qualifies lol

I don't bring my smartphone, but I do get a local SIM for my unlocked flip phone. As for emails and such, if the resort has some PCs available I may check on occasion, but I do not go out of my way to do it.

In my case I have no problem to disconnect !! One week whitout cell phone and laptop .... a perfect vacation !!!!
