I will get bashed, but (limited) freedom of speech. So let me throw this out there.

Does it annoy you when your reading the lounge and you see ad threads masquerading as lounge threads? I say I'll get bashed because I'll get the 'paying member' bla, bla, bla and if your not happy go somewhere else bla, bla, bla. Fine, paying members. I don't mind the signature with the website, I don't mind the participation, I don't think like some that participation=direct marketing, some SPs here have opinions that I really like to read and this board would be boring as hell if they werent here, but I'm kinda irritated by the what-do-you-think-of-my-website, help-me-make-it-better, or lets-play-the-new-name-game-(and-by-the-way-here-are-my-rates-and-whos-working) threads. You wouldnt here me complaining if these threads were in the ad section. Which brings up the Q why couldn't or dont paying members post them there instead of here? Maybe I am halucinating and ad-threads in the lounge are just in my mind. But lately it seems just so obvious.

I just wanted to put the question out there and see if I'm the only one annoyed by this, even though _I_ don't pay to be here, but I find that everywhere we go (on and off net) there's always advertising and I'd like it to be limited to one spot, like at the every-15minutes-ok commercial time during tv shows and not every other minute.

my 0.02,

RF

I also dont want to be pointing fingers and I know the examples I give may seem like that. I'm sorry for the people who may feel attacked, I'm just trying to see if I'm the only one annoyed so maybe you can adapt to that annoyance. Or maybe I,m the only one in which case don't change a thing.

I think that asking about websites or promoting new escorts no matter the means (especially if your talking about all your other escorts that are really worth there fee) should be limited to the section that is (i thought) intended for that purpose. In my mind, these threads have direct impact on earnings. Thats why I call them ad-thread. Like multiplying by X the number of website hits and catching new people interested in meeting you or getting new clients for a new girl. Maybe it wasn't your purpose but it really looks that way. And I know your not saving money by doing this since your already paying, but I just feel like this place should be 100% ad-free. I even wonder if some SPs aren't as irritated as me. But then this isn't my board and maybe I should just shut up. I'm sorry if I pissed off anyone.

Doesn't really matter to me, it's just as simple as one mouse button clock back if I don't want to read it.

I know I don't have to read them. But I like reading the two sections, and when im in the agency section I'm reading what's on and when I'm in the lounge I'm not expecting to read more about what's on. It's like the telemarketers that call at 6pm. If I wanted to know about your specials l'd call you! I'm just trying to gage how other people feel about it, not intending to be a shit disturber.

Hello everyone,

We do keep an eye on all threads and posts made by advertisers. When an advertiser is making a post looking for member feedback, it cannot be placed in the advertising forum as members do not have permission to post in that section.

When any advertiser begins to make too many of these posts, or makes posts a moderator considers to be blatant advertising outside of the proper section, the posts will be removed and the advertiser warned by PM. If anyone has a problem with any post made by an advertiser, or any other member for that matter, they may notify a moderator and we will check to see if any action is required.

Some gentlemen get annoyed by anything!!

As do some women apparently :D

I do think there is a fine line and blatant self promotion can sometimes be counter-productive. I have seen at least one sp soley because of her participation here which tweaked a curiousity. I think it was after an argument with her :) How bent is that ?

As noted by mod 8 "it cannot be placed in the advertising forum as members do not have permission to post in that section." Therefore, when an agency such as myself trys to get public feedback, my only choice is by posting in the lounge...

You did have another choice. Pick the name yourself, and Voila! No need to post!

Guess who's back to play!
True in the point that I could of picked the name myself but then I wouldn't of had the members feedback.... And this feedback is something that I value a lot.... Hence the reason for asking for peoples opinion and offering them something in return for the help...

when i log in i go straight to "new posts" end check out the thread titles that interest me. most of the times i don't even notice the sections the threads are posted in... as long as advertisement is not posted in the review sections... the rest doesn't realy bother me.
