Just watch for now
we have other plans
Of course this is just my 2cents... but in general, I hate being downtown for socializing. I've gotten too old to enjoy watching 18-22 year olds which is what you'll mostly find around Crescent ex: Sir Winston Churchill ... its really not what it used to be, then agian neither am I
I do enjoy the occasional visit at Furco, Cathcart, and even the Keg - Nice professional crowd after 5. Chez Alexandre on Peel can be shoot or miss - tons of hot girls go to Enso for yoga
In the summer, weather permitting of course, I really do prefer hitting roof tops (DAMN I MISS Hotel De La Montagne so bad sometimes). Terrasse Place d'Armes, Nelligan, William Grey gets really social.
For bar hopping, Mt-Royal is loads of fun, especially since its pedestrian for the summer - but kinda like Crescent, caters more towards students age group.
Edit 1: I've recently been going to Taverne Atlantic in Mile-X. Every single time I've gone I've been quite impressed by how many cute girls go there and are approachable.
Edit 2: I know you said downtown... its just not what it used to be. Especially with the explosion in nice venues outside downtown... its just not my prime place anymore imho.
