Edting your post??

I try to edit one of my starting thread....and i DONT have that option anymore!!!....if i want to change or delete a post i am able(i didnt test everything but a couple to see) ...but a starting thread i am not able...
I did write in pm to one mod about it...and the answer i got is...
(There seems to ba a 48 hour limit in editing posts.)
It is strange cause i always was able to do it....and now if you want to correct something etc,i dont want to pm a mod for that reason to change a word or a sentence?? (like if a girl is changing agency,name or whatever the reason) Cause it is still my original post!!!
I was wondering cause in the past we could always do that,and now we dont have that ability or it is just me!!!.,i would like to know if they could put back that option !!!
What you guys are think about it??

This post is nothing bad against nobody...i am just asking...Cause i dont want somebody twist the post i am trying to make....

I personally never tried to edit a starting thread, at least that I can recall. However, I have been able to edit pretty much anything I needed to, mainly typos. Even yesterday I corrected one.

I just edited this one without problems

You could always try deleting this thread before too many people answer - just copy/paste everything you wrote first in Notepad or Word before in case you want to repost the same thing.

Yeah i almost always do if the post i am writing is reallyyy long lolll,in case you never know!!!...but if the girl is simply changing agency or her name etc...i dont want to pm for that,cause before i was able to do it always...and now i am not...i was wondering if i am the only one,or it is a bug,etc....
P.s. i am just talking about starting thread...

Something has changed that's for sure. Panthere, I am able to go back only as far as a Feb 16th post to be able to edit it, my next post before that is Feb 13th which i am not able to edit so looks like around a 5 week window if you want to edit a post you made. Just tried threads started and same goes for that.

So You are able to edit a started thread that you made almost 5 weeks ago....For me i am not able to do it at ALL....

from what another poster told me it has been like this on Terb and Perb forever, and he thinks that a former Mod set Merb differently when that mod was active here, maybe they just want all three boards the same now, I really don't know mon ami.

I have issues deleting or editing much older posts, newer ones aren't an issue.
