Hey how come only guys have to ask women out here in US/Canada..most of the time..WHILE in Europe women do it as much as men do?. I can take rejections easily but after a while it gets quite boring. BY nature, its women who give out signals and select a guy (for whatever, especially sex), so why not exercise the equal opportunities here and move to the next step and ask guys out?. I am talking about mostly college dating and also young professionals too. For older women however, they should be doing it 50% of the time. If any such women are reading, PASS This info on ..will ya..

Good point! Most women say they are looking for a nice guy, so they are worried about being seen as too pushy or aggressive, about asking guys out. Still think about it most women are not attracted to nice guys who they see as needy/wussy/or worse the kind of guy that is going to fall in love with them and stalk them after the breakup. So if they are not attracted to nice guys, why worry about if normal or wild guys get turned off by their forward behavior? Love & the rules to attraction are not logical.

I think in North America, as anywhere else, women do also take the lead on the dating scene. Difference is that in North America, women are more selective: make no mistake -> if One is a super hot Gent, they will run after him.
Just look in the night clubs: as soon as the guy is tall, well built, they are all around him.

True, BUT..I think women here have the priorities all WRONG!. In that case, we guys would gladly accept an average looking women but with sensuality. I would consider a women with small tits and an average face but a great derrierre quite a great treat (1 out of 3 aint bad!), but women who have 2 or 3 of those attributes(above) would be looking for handome, makes money and a nice ass(?, some say women look at eyes and a ass on a guy for sexual attractiveness)).And all this just for a date!.Man, it is hard to date here!. In that sense, we (men here in N.A) are better..in social terms. A girl in a bar who is like an 8 would never go for a bald guy in his 30's with a bit of pot belly but otherwise smart looking(dressed well) but reverse the tables and we men would be less selective. So its quite true what you said..Mr. Monk..

But hey, I am comparing women here in NA to women in western europe..
WHERE..they are:

A. More sexual than women here in NA hence they look for cues for how horny a guy is and wheteher he will last in bed.
B. More open about sexuality in a conversation in a bar
C. Looking for fun as well as sex as much as guys in bars
D. Less of an emphasis on the physical there by women and more on sexuality.

Just try Berlin or Barcelona..My point being if women were more open like they are there in western europe, more of us would be getting laid a lot more ..

Women like to wait for the guy to make the first move because it makes them feel loved and important; after all, if the girl is hot enough, why WON'T we make that move?

Young professionals and university students are usually more open. They often do "make the first move". I think that is because they care less about the "power" and "control" elements in the relationship.

Women are terrified of rejection. It also feeds the power trip they are on to have men chase them. When you talk about double standards in the women’s movement this is a classic example.
