I was watching the movie Go!, part of my DVD collection. Sarah Polley (I didn't know she was Canadian) plays a grocery store clerk turned Ecstasy dealer. Another Sarah Polley movie you want to rent is "The Sweet Hereafter." Great film which was nominated for an Academy Award, it's based on the book by Russell Banks which was also excellent. One of the better "art house" type films I have seen in the last 10 years. Beautifully filmed in British Columbia by Atom Egoyan.
In the movie, Polley sings the song "Courage", and reveals an incredible voice. I have the soundtrack CD which is excellently done. Polley does not looks as good in this movie but she plays a tragic victim of a bus accident. Incredible, powerful, tragic film.

Thanks, EB, I'll check it out. And you're right. She seems to vary her looks with each movie; in some movies, she is very attractive and glamorous, and in others, she tones it down.

I like this thread, it always interests me to see how people compare people. maybe we should compare our favorite SP's to hot cartoon characters like Willma Flintstone, Jessica Rabitt, or Leela from Futurama, though I doubt many have seen any cycloptic SP's, but if Leela was available I'd try.
I have only begun my foray into visiting Montreal or Toronto for hobbying but my experience thus far leaves me with the following observations in relation to this theme:
Toronto - Cupids - Samantha (she was fabulous fun by the way) as advertised on thier website looks alot like Liv Tyler, will repeat if i have the opportunity
Montreal - Devlish - Emma - in my opinion has the look of Penelope Cruz, I find her very sexy, i will repeat when in town again
Montreal - Devlish - Chloe - puts me in mind of Kristin Kruek from the Smallville TV series, she is petite, sweet, and i love the way she sounds, repeatable too
