You're mixing him up with Phil Kessel ....

Go Genie !

Go Milos !

Kessel isn't fat. He had one of the lowest body fat ratios on the team a couple of years ago. But he's built thick....like a football player. If you ever saw his father, he is built just like Phil. He also played professional football at one time. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins.

Tough task in the quarters against Sharapova. It will be a good measuring stick!

She has lost all three previous matches to Sharapova, but did give her a tough going at Roland Garos, a surface on which Sharapova thrives on.

I don't expect Genie to beat Sharapova, but it'll be a tough match. Let me say that rarely will you ever see two such gorgeous women on a tennis court at the same time! ;)

Genie Bouchard's tennis season has begun on the wrong foot this season, but nothing's stopping twin sister/party girl Beatrice from having a good time in the process. She's recently been travelling with Genie & Beatrice seems to be enjoying the warmer weather:

What's up with Genie lately? eliminated again in the first round to a lower player :(

Too many off-court distractions. Hopefully her very promising career doesn't end up like Anna Kournikova's. She seems to focus better when she's playing in the grandslams, but who knows if the trend will continue this season.

I also believe that she made a mistake parting ways with long-time coach Nick Saviano. She didn't like to be criticized.

Eugenie Bouchard

She lost her Federation Cup match today against a no-name Romanian player. She also created controversy earlier by refusing to shake her upcoming opponent's hand, telling reporters afterwards that she'd rather shake her hand after their match is over. It created quite a controversy in Europe & on social media.

Is it possible she isn't interested as there is no pay for participation in that tournament?

Bouchard considering hiring a sports psychologists to help her deal with pressure better

She told TVA Sports today that she's seriously considering hiring a sports psychologist in order to help her deal with outside pressures. Personally, i believe it would be a great idea since it's quite obvious to observers that her head isn't right at the moment. Her play has regressed dramatically over the past year and I not only blame her newly-found fame for this problem. I blame the fact she parted ways with her long-time tennis coach, highly-respected Nick Saviano, whom she had been with since the age of 12.

I also believe that fame & success has went up to her head. This may also have been one of the reasons why she decided to leave Saviano. One thing is certain, Saviano wasn't shy to criticize her when didn't like what he saw & criticism is something she did not appear to enjoy as she got more & more famous around the tennis world. She was without a coach when she played the recent Australian Open and then finally hired a coach. I just hope that she didn't chose her new coach because he was a yes-man and wouldn't criticize her for fear of getting fired.

She also looks thinner than in the past. I agree that fitness and stamina should be at its peak, but weight loss could also affect her power. She'll have to find the right balance. I also recommend that she go back to the simpler things that worked in the past. I also would recommend that she patch things up with Nick Saviano & re-hire him as her tennis coach....if he wants to, that is. My guess is that the last thing he needs is a young primadonna who thinks she's always right about everything and rejects any criticism.

p.s. Maybe her twin sister isn't a good influence on her. She looks like quite the party girl & has been seen on the tour with her.

Eugenie Bouchard's meltdown & very poor sportsmanship

I stopped watching Eugenie Bouchard's 2nd match on Sunday. She won the first set, but then totally collapsed (and melted down) during the next two sets. I couldn't take it anymore and stopped watching after just a few games into the 3rd set, fully aware of the outcome.

But i learned yesterday that not only did she break a few rackets (again!!!!) during that last set, but SHE REFUSED TO SHAKE HER OPPONENT'S HAND ONCE THEIR MATCH WAS OVER!!!

I must admit that i have been following tennis since the mid 70's and not once have i ever seen such sportsmanship on the part of ANY player. Even though i find her excuse for not having ANY friends on the women's tour kind of stupid (she feels having friends on the tour will hurt her game), there is no excuse for not congratulating an opponent who beat you fair and square after a match.

THE UNDERACHIEVING SPOILED PRIVILEGED BRAT NEEDS A GOOD SPANKING!!!!
