A question? Does it happen that the bait is an improvement so a pleasant surprise?

With fake pics, no, but in some cases I have met ladies with obviously photoshopped/edited pics who were better than the pics.

Back in the early days of the Internet, fake pics were more the norm than they are now, with the advent of Tineye and Google Images and other programs that can spot fakery. There was an agency I used in Connecticut 1999-2002 era that used consistent fake pics, but I never found any of their ladies so unattractive as to reject them. These agencies operated then, as some do now, on the theory that a guy who is really horny, with a raging hard on, wants immediate satisfaction and isn't going to turn away a reasonably attractive woman. And in many instances, especially if the client has had a few drinks, all women start to look better anyway. So this time-honored theory of bait and switch operation is still somewhat valid and successful. It's just harder to pull of now than it was in the early days of the Internet. Also, in those days you didn't have boards like MERB to report on the fakery. It was more a buyer beware/Wild West landscape, especially in Connecticut back in those days. In those days it was adventurous because you really didn't know what would show up at your door. I did receive one pleasant surprise with that agency, but in most cases they were okay woman who were attractive enough, so to speak, but nothing special and not worth a repeat.

Lily,

It was a Wild West situation back in the days before MERB. Either you were toughened to the risks or you got out of the hobby.

When I first started coming to Montreal, I used an agency called Allissa's of Montreal. They didn't have any photos of the girls, just a website with descriptions. I used them on the recommendations of a few seasoned Montreal veterans I had met online at TBD. Basically I had to rely on the descriptions provided in emails by the owner. Most of the ladies I met from that agency were very attractive. I had only one disappointment that I can remember. But in those days, the exchange rate was like $1.60, $450 Canadian was only costing me $290 USD or less, and I didn't care because it was a worthwhile risk based on the experiences I did have.

Did anyone see the posting by XXXtase for Lea earlier today?

Not sure I quite understood it (Anglophobe here) but it showed two photos of her (one with Photoshop) and the Photoshop one is that one on the website

It has since gotten taken down in today's listing.

I have been baited and switched a couple of times. At the beginning I didn't have the balls to walk out.
Then I learned my lesson

Then I found my own way to screen pictures
I use google to reverse search an image (where you upload a picture and it tells you it's source)
Then I'll use the website tinyeye which is the same concept except it uses a different engine so it sometimes finds things that Google doesn't.

Sometimes the ad itself is enough to tell
They play with their words like

100%real vs pics are 100% real
Of course you are a real person, just not the real person

Careful some agencies do use fake pics, found out myself. It's very rare but it happens.

I learned my lesson to avoid the risk because if she isn't honest about her pics, then she's probably not honest about her service

My first BS experience was terrible. She had fake pics, service was a joke. I tried telling her, she said to me "I don't care what my ad or website says. I got scammed so hard that she felt bad and offered me weed.
