Congratulations to our Canadian athletes, they gave it their all and Canada should be proud of each and every one of them.

China put on a great show and both the opening and closing ceremonies were fantastic. It was fun to see Jackie Chan singing at the end of the closing ceremonies.

All in all a very memorable games.

I missed that!

I went back to bed after David Beckham showed up. I got chills when Leona Lewis sang "A Whole Lotta Love" with the legendary Jimmy Page on guitar. He's aged, but can still play guitar with the best of them. Fantastic!

The only thing that could have beat that moment would have been Eric Clapton & Jeff Beck joining him in a jamming session. But this not being a rock concert, it's understandable. It's only the closing ceremonies, after all.
